"The sales person was welcoming and…"
The sales person was welcoming and friendly. She had spoken to my husband previously regarding the type of mobility scooter he preferred but still explained everything to me when we both went to the shop. He was able to try the scooter and she gave us detailed information regarding its facilities and how best to charge the battery etc. She was extremely patient whilst we talked over our decision. Thank you Julie.

"A friend for life"
We called into your mobility clay cross shop on Saturday to have a look for a suitable scooter for me as I can't walk very far as iam awaiting heart surgery hopefully within the next few months. The sales lad was lovely he sat me down so I could get my breath and allowed me to gather my thoughts and breath in my own time together with my nephew mark as my support carer Nick had a friendly chat with me asking about my intentions for the scooter and how it would fit into the period before and after my heart operation He let me test a few scooters out in the shop that were suited to what was required. He answered all my questions in a very friendly easy to understand way we must have been in the shop for nearly an hour and a half and I felt nick had become a friend helping me. I needed one quite quickly as my breathing is getting worse he delivered it after work in his own time to me at my home on the Saturday I was so so pleased with this. But he didn't just leave quickly he helped me to plan how I was going to store it and went through everything again for me. He made a few other suggestions which I will discuss with him nearer to my operation date. I can't thank him enough for making me feel so relaxed and yet involved in the decision making for what I required. You have a great asset in Nick with the way he connects with people and he does everything with such a honest and and integral manner. I would like you to know that this is going to make such a difference for the preparation before my operation. I would like to say to nicks boss I think he said Deborah, you have someone with some great people skills and can read and relate to someone in such a personable and honest manner. I've already told some of my neighbours about the service given and nick said he would help me with any further mobility requirements I may need after my operation. Thankyou very much nick and parkgate from Sheila and Mark

"Parkgate Retford"
My husband has cancer which has severely restricted his mobility. On discharge from the Hospice, we realised he needed to have a riser/recliner chair as soon as possible to help him to be comfortable. On Friday 13 Jan, after looking at websites where the delivery dates were not suitable, my son and I decided to check availability locally. He rang the Retford shop which is nearest to us and spoke to Ian. He gave him some very good information and advised him to visit the shop on Saturday to see the range available. He subsequently visited on Saturday and selected a suitable chair. Ian said he would phone on Monday regarding delivery. As promised, he rang on Monday morning but said the earliest day available was Wednesday. As my husband is seriously ill, time is of the essence. Ian said he would see what he could do. Within the hour he rang back after sourcing a chair and arranging delivery for the afternoon. The chair was delivered before 1400hrs by Ian and another man whose name I didn't catch. They were very professional and personable. Ian explained everything and to say I was a satisfied customer is an understatement! I cannot recommend Ian and Parkgate mobility highly enough. If we had bought online the service would not have been as good. In the unlikely event of any problems, I have no doubt Ian will be on hand to sort things out. The most important part is the chair is exactly what we required. I have no hesitation in awarding a 5 star rating.

From the moment I entered the shop I was given full attention and immediately directed to exactly what I needed. Keith was helpful and professional, explaining how to adjust the height of the toilet seat and frame that I purchased for my mum. He was chatty and friendly and even carried my purchase to the car for me. Excellent service, good value, great quality.

"Purchase of walking frame for use outside."
I went into your Castleford store today and was served by Keith. I wanted a lightweight but sturdy walking frame that I could use outside but also lift into my house . Keith was very polite and helpful, showing me a number of options. I bought the one my sister and myself thought the most suitable. A very nice man and a tribute to your company .
