"New brick pillars for driveway gates"

I had 3 brick pillars at the entrance to my driveway which I built myself as a DIY job 30 years ago. I decided to have them rebuilt by a bricklayer along with 2 short lengths of walling.
I procured 3 pier caps from Stonecrete Direct to fit on top of double brick pillars. They arrived ahead of scheduled date, well wrapped on a pallet. On arrival one cap looked a darker shade of colour than the other two. I phoned to report this concern and was advised that it should dry out and be ok but if not satisfied to just phone again and it would be replaced. Hence no argument about replacing the item if necessary which I found assuring. In the event the darker cap did dry out to the same shade as the other two and so I am delighted with their appearance to finish off my new pillars. Thankyou.
