We had Adam come out this morning to do a dpf clean.Amazing communication from him letting us know what was happening and what needed to be done next. Very professional and would definitely recommend this service to anyone.

Had a DPF full message on my LR Discovery Sport and car went into limp home mode. Being a bank holiday weekend I booked online and they were on site within 2 days. After testing the DPF didn't need cleaning after all its just something LR do when the car gets around 5 years old. The mechanic did all the tests and the car was fine (it had regen only 19 miles ago) so would only charge the callout fee rather than the full price for a clean. I suspect if I had got to my main dealer it would have been 2k plus for a new filter. Can't recommend these guys highly enough

My F-Pace went into limp mode due to blocked exhaust filter. Called up 3 Jaguar dealers - hopeless and would look at the car for over a months time so found DPf specialist on website. They sent out engineers to carry out diagnostics, clean filter and replace a number of parts. It required 3 separate visits. Customer service were responsive and helpful and the engineers involved were all very good and knowledgable. I feel confident the repairs have been done properly and at a reasonable price.

"1000 miles from home with DPF error…"

1000 miles from home in my trusty Freelander 2 when the DPF error surfaced. Feeling very alone in a foreign land I had no idea what to do. Found these guys via Google who replied to my email within a few hours and then spoke to me on the telephone to offer their expertise and advice. Very reassuring.

So far so good. Had this company come and clean my DPF last week but upon inspection they told me it was cracked. (Range Rover - Evoque).

Showed me where by getting me to go underneath the car myself - and it was noticeably cracked.

Ordered a new DPF with them for the car and they came and fitted it 8 days later. There was a delay because of incorrect sensor supplied but they realised this when they collected the component.

All of this wasn't cheap at £2019 for the job plus £150 for the original call out but nothing on a Range Rover is cheap!!

Hopefully car will be OK now (first major fault on 6 year old car). So, to this point this company have done the business.

Just bought my car and a couple of weeks ago I got a warning saying the partical filter additive level is too low flashing up! I spoke with different garages and all were saying I would leave the car and then it might need more done to it (I was worried they would charge me extra and cost a fortune). I went with this company instead and Ryan came around and tested it and they confirmed it just needed the fluid. Job done within an hour and no more warnings all running fine. Happy with the service.

I've read the reviews on here and I have 'no skin in this game', I can only speak as I found. My Land Rover's DPF filled up / red light failed and the car went into safe mode. I contacted DPF Specialists who assured me they could clean this out rather than me face a 4 week wait to see the main dealer and a potential £2500 bill for a new one.
Adam the tech from Auto Assist arrived 20 mins early, did the diagnostics and successfully force-cleaned out the DPF reducing the soot levels from 64% to 7%. It then drove normally and subsequently sailed through its MOT. My experience has only been positive - thank you!

"Steer clear"

Contacted Lee at DPF Specialists after my car had an issue and I didn’t trust my local garage. I arranged for the car to be taken by truck to their facility at Cuxton Road in Strood.

They informed me that the car was a write off and asked if I’d like them to arrange to have it scrapped. This was a 12 year old old BMW 520 with full service history and they were offering just a few hundred pounds. They assured me that my possessions would be returned but this never happened.

They were called and emailed to chase but no answer from anyone.

I’ve now just logged onto the DVLA website to find the car is now Taxed and MOT’d!!!!

Avoid these bandits at all costs. They will charge you a lot of money for their work and will tell you that you have a faulty part to wrangle out of the warranty. Please do not use.
