From the first call I made it was totally stress free. I spoke with Aaron who was professional, knowledgeable and fair. He kept me informed every step of a very short journey and ensured that all the promises made were kept. Bradly collected the car with no attempt to bargain on the deal agreed. Great company with great employees, I will only ever use them in the future fir all things car. Cheers for everything.

"Be prepared to be lied to"

Be prepared to be lied to. After uploading 20 detailed photos, received an acceptable price, even got told the photos were perfect. After several requests for an email stating the purchase price received a call saying they had valued the car without any photos (yeah right!) and the price would now be nearly 10% lower. Their selling point of not haggling on the drive might be correct, but be prepared to haggle on the phone instead.

I put all my information into Motor Dough I was then greeted with a call 2 days later from “Tony”. The phone call lasted around 15/20 minutes which I was told by Tony on more than one occasion that Motor Dough were different to other car buying sites (you know the ones). And they didn’t mind how long you had owned a vehicle etc, please note this was a car I had taken in part exchange for a car I was selling, there are no issues with the car I was looking to sell to Motor Dough.

Tony then asked me if I could get some picture and videos of the car etc which I was happy to do. These would then be passed onto the valuation team and Tony would come back to me with a price for the vehicle but they “could definitely buy it”.

Fast forward 1-2hours after the initial phone call from Tony I receive a text message saying “good news we have a valuation for your car please call to discuss”

Which in turn I did, Tony picked up the phone and said “unfortunately we can’t buy the car because you haven’t owned it long enough” even though 2 hours earlier he contradicted himself and said it didn’t matter how long you’d owned the vehicle?

In my personal experience it was a waste of time and effort and also none of the stipulations spoken about on the phone are anywhere on the website, clearly something Motor Dough could do with working on.

All in all don’t waste your time with Motor Dough just go to webuyanycar or something similar, yes they might knock the price down slightly but at least you are guaranteed a sale unlike Motor Dough who seem to change the rules or conditions to suit them.

I couldn't have been happier with my experience with MotorDough. I dealt with Joe, and he was exactly the right combination of friendly and professional every time I spoke to him. The sale went through without any issues, just as quick as advertised, and everyone I dealt with was absolutely great.

Sam, who handled the office side of things, was very helpful, and Deano, the operator who came to inspect and collect the car, was equally professional and efficient.

"Very efficient and quick sale"

Very efficient and quick sale, i had my first contact with Molly after my intial enquiry was submitted and then was passed to Jake who went through how the system worked and handled the process of valuation, and arranging pick up really well. Brad
then collected the car and again explained his side of the sale which
went very smoothly money in the bank and the car was then taken. This was a very speedy process which for me was brilliant and well organised by Jake and Brad.

"An excellent company"

As my husband died I had to sell his car. Out of the companies I googled motor dough had the best reviews by far and also made me the best offer which I accepted. The process to sell my car was simple and straightforward and unlike some companies they collect your car from your home. They communicated with me throughout the whole process. As soon as I accepted the offer I was given a convenient date within 48 hours to collect the car.
Further checks of the car are done on arrival and an offer confirmed. Before the car is taken from your home the money is transferred to your bank and only when you have confirmed receipt of the money is the car taken.
Craig, the member of staff who collected my car explained this fully and explained any issues found with the car and even with these issues I was given a very good price for my husbands car. Craig was really friendly and helpful and a credit to the company.
As I was going through the grieving process this company helped me to sell his car without difficulty.
I would recommend this motor dough to anyone wanting to sell a car quickly for a good price.
