"Super nice people -- software is a bit weak"

As a new user (having worked in a school library for years), I'm finding Alexandria very cludgy to use -- things are stored in separate silos and I'm constantly having to shift between Patron, Circulation, and Researcher -- and the functions are not well embedded/easy to find. Many icons are not defined and there's no explanatory message when you hover over it. It seems unnecessarily complicated to do simple tasks.

On the other hand, when I've had problems or questions (as I did when upgrading to a new version in August), the customer service was exemplary! Swift response, thorough follow-through, etc.

"Few problems, but little feedback to suggestions"

We have had relatively few problems and the tech department is very helpful. But I have made some suggestions and you never hear back on what is happening. Also, I have been hearing problem about the Version 7 so am afraid to try it.

Every time I contact Alexandria they are always friendly and work towards the issue at hand. The circulation system is getting better and better as they make improvements. I really like the new version!

This is the 7th year that I have used Alexandria for my K-8 school library. Great product, great price, and on the extremely rare times that I have contacted customer support, they have been super supportive and answered my questions quickely.

It is very easy to use. Great for adding new books to your data base. It works great with a large volume of check-outs. No problems that I have found .

The customer service and tech support at Alex is top notch. Even though they're a couple time zones behind us, they are always there to answer the phones and help solve a problem before out kids come running in the doors.
