In June I purchased a ticket from Vayama to Europe. About a day later I signed onto the United website to choose my seat and I found that one of my flights was cancelled. I immediately contacted Vayama for a refund and they agreed that the flight was cancelled and that I would get a refund. I found out later that the airline had refunded my money to Vayama. I filed a claim with my credit card company, yet here I sit in late September with no refund. They pulled a tricky trick. They charged my account using a company called "Budget Air". At the same time they placed a "pending charge" against my account in the name of Vayama itself. Later they dropped the pending charge and are now apparently claiming that they never charged me - but they certainly did, the exact amount as the "pending charge" more than $1,000. don't trust these people they are dishonest as they come.

They are playing game with consumers I think.
As I book thru them on airindia flight and on March for June and July 2020 tickets but then flight was not operated so I ask for refund.
They even did not pay my refund yet.
They said contact to airindia.
I contact airindia and they said vayama is responsible for giving me my refund.
I am not sure why they are not refunding.
its been 4 months that i am waiting for my money from vayama.
even their customer service is not responding call they close their call lines.

Nope. Do NOT under any circumstances even try Vayama. They dont even have the decency to answer calls. Again, Vayama does not want to pass on the refund that is due to me. It is exasperating to work with this org. Just not worth the stress.

I added a star. I suggest all of you fighting for a refund to fill a complaint at BBB. After I did it, Vayama finally woke up and made the refund. I got my money back today.

My flight was cancelled due COVID at the beginning of April. It's been six months of silence and generic emails about the amount of work they have and how it'll take more time. I checked with the airline and my ticket appears as "Refunded". When I try to ask for answers to Vayama to why they continue to say that the refund is in "Pending Status", they continue to send generic outdated BS mails...

Still waiting on a $2k refund for a canceled flight in July. They have turned off their customer service phone line which is infuriating. Bought these tickets last December. I’m wondering if I can dispute credit card charge at this point.

DO NOT TRUST THE FIVE STAR REVIEWS. Vayama notified me my flight was canceled in April and that they would start the refund process. Called the airline directly and was told Vayama has not contacted them in the past 5 MONTHS to even start the refund process! I kept getting scripted responses from Vayama that the "process" has been started and that I dont need to contact them. They shut off their phones and emails get me nowhere. I have been blatantly lied to and was led to believe I was waiting on the airline to initiate the refund when in actuality I have been waiting on Vayama just to start the refund process. Thousands of dollars and tons of hours wasted. Save yourself the stress and money and go with a more reputable company.

❌❌❌Stay away❌❌❌ if you guys don't want to loose money. Lost with this company $1k. Worst and Rude rude rude customer Service. Half of my flight got cancel due the Covid19 border got closed.I got notification from Air lines that my fight got rescheduled, then I called straight to airlines To check in my flight status. They said that half of my flight is canceled. Airlines told me to contact to company that I bought ticket threw and reschedule or cancel the flight. Guess what, these ass wholes said nothing is Cancelled because they didn't get any info about closed borders or cancelled flight, Yay, thank you, if i didnt contact to Air Lines to check aboht flight status i would flew away and I would stuck for whole my Trip in half way, even tho i bought round trip ticket, And guess what, they refuse refund for cancelled ticket. Fraud company Stay away if you guys do not want to get disappointed ☹️ Very disappointed ☹️

Unfortunately, we will never use Vayama again. We booked in January for travel in April 2020. Covid aside, corresponding with customer service was a complete nightmare. Representatives were the most rude I have ever dealt with. I called a handful of times in February to reschedule a cancelled connecting flight. After being on hold for 45-60 minutes, I was told Vayama could not reschedule my cancelled flight at that time because "Our schedulers have to contact you" (which they never did), even though I could see the flight available on the website. I was also told that they didn't have time to address my issue because my flight was still two months away; they were dealing with Covid cancellations and, "People are dying, ma'am." I asked to speak to a manager and was refused. They told me "Managers only take calls if there is an issue, and there is no issue here." I was so angry I was shaking when I got off of the phone. Service representatives need to be trained how to be respectful and professional with customers AT ALL TIMES.

Absolute worst experience anyone can have..
They don't respond to emails, there is no phone number to call, they DO NOT refund money to you after the airline returns it to them (confirmed directly with the airline). Absolute nightmare, avoid at all costs.
