I didn't know nesto and contacted them because their low rate came up in an online search, but found the service to be far from cut price.
As relatively new arrivals in Canada we didn't have huge experience in mortgage applications, but our advisor Elischa and processor Alin gave really clear advice and instructions and were very pleasant to deal with. Time is always of the essence with such things, but I felt supported rather than pressured. The online portal was a straightforward way to apply and upload all the necessary documents.
What could have been a stressful experience was pleasingly simple, and nesto will certainly be top of mind when we next move or want to remortgage.

"Poor communication and approval timeline"
Nesto claims their approvals (or decisions) take 24-48 hours after document submission. But that’s a bold-faced lie. My application has been in limbo for over a week now, and every question about timeline is responded to with more requests for documents and clarifications and even a race-based assumption! I understand the underwriting process—a bunch of pencil pushers with the collective flexibility of a mummified corpse—but that doesn’t excuse that they only ask for more info when their delays are questioned. There's no proactive effort to clarify everything all at once from the start. Delays, avoidance, more questions in poorly phrased English, and then silence until they get a bit more pressure. It’s been an entirely disappointing experience that has also tarnished my opinion of EQBank, with whom I’ve banked with since their consumer inception. I didn’t even need a positive answer, just _an_ answer in the promised timeframe.

My experience with nesto was excellent, the entire team was very helpful and transparent throughout my experience. I would definitely recommend nesto for anyone looking for a mortgage and I will strongly consider them for my next new one. The only reason I didn’t sign on with a switch to nesto is because my current lender decided to compete with their rates, making it easier for me to stay with my current lender instead of jumping through all of the remaining hoops required. Thanks for everyone’s help

"Refus de financement = aucun service client"
Refus de financement et aucune réponse sensée. Donc, j'ai eu ma préqual, PA acceptée, inspection ok, financement refusé ou plutôt "retrait de Nesto dans le financement" sans aucune raison fournie. Avec l'aide de contacts, nous avons compris que c'est à cause du faible taux de pyrrotite dans le garage et non pas le condo que ca été refusé. J'avais 2 jours pour financer, beau service clientèle. Je me suis tourné vers une autre institution et le tout a été réglé. Je ne ferai plus jamais affaire avec Nesto, le service client est bon quand tout va bien, mais quand ca ne fait pas leur affaire, ils nous traitent comme de la m*rde.

We buy for underwear they have mention for underwear cannot try it.but I did not notice the message I bring fitting room two underwear box and other pen also but I did not try for both I wear one.One staff see that the name is SAMIKSHA the lady ask about that and then she say I have to pay for that ok I will buy and than she looking around to me and looking it not comfortable to shopping and then she asks me to pay for both but my mistake I bring long pen and two underwear but I not wear all in my hand only I look that and than she talk to me rude and she call security also they both the talk me pay for that .After my mistake I say sorry I can’t pay for both but they talk rude and they say you have to pay for that and then they call again Supervisor ,the Supervisor is good he talk nicely and he apologized also after we pay for that and I say sorry also but the Staff lay and Security stay in counter and they are talk again. I very disappoint for the buying .Please attention to this Staff -SAMIKSHA the lady .
