Buy a Car were very helpful, polite and knowledgeable and I cannot fault that. I found my car and had everything sorted. They rang me to say a fault had been found on the car and they would not sell it to me. OK, fair enough.
I saw another car, not as good spec but it looked very nice so agreed to buy it.
On the day of delivery they rang to say the garage had sent some photos of the odd chip and scratch. Odd they should do it hours before delivery but OK.
The damage was not an odd chip/scratch, the photos were bad quality and trying to hide damage. I got onto BuyaCar and they got the garage to do 2 videos, in and out. This was not the car on the original advert, it had damage everywhere including a small hole on the inside of the door.
I refused the car and questioned why this was happening on delivery day, how the damage couldn't be seen on the original pictures as there was so much and why had this not been sorted already.
BuyaCar apologised and refunded my money but I am now without a car and nearly £90 out of pocket having changed car registrations twice and now to do it again.

Purchased a car using buyacar over the Christmas period. Large selection of cars and excellent customer service, helped with any issues that came up. Car is in good condition, would use again. Delivery was very convenient.

"Exceptional Customer Service"
Somewhat easy but not ideal experience of purchasing a car. However, the exceptional customer service especially from Francesca in the Customer Care team means I now have my perfect car.
The initial ordering of the car was a little hassle as of course the first car I wanted was not available after I reserved it. But it worked out that I ended up with a car that I prefer- Happy Days…
The car was smoothly delivered and arrived exactly when they said it would. Unfortunately there were a few issues I was not made aware of: there was a chip on the windscreen which was in the driver eye line and not very sightly; there was also cosmetic damage to the centre console and what looked like chemical damage to the cup holder (Not typical wear and tear, quite unsure what the previous owner was using the car for apart from driving from A to B). Of course a second hand car is not perfect but the damages were not made clear in the photos and if they were I would have avoided buying the car. (I will add the rest of the car was in beautiful condition and was valeted and cleaned before it arrived).
I got in contact with the team at Buy A Car to let them know I would like to return the car due to the damage. The team at Buy A Car very quickly got back to me who wanted to help me resolve the issues as soon as possible to avoid me having to return the car and essentially end up ‘car-less’ which for me is not ideal as I need my car for work. To summarise the problems were resolved, it did take 3/4 months but I have paid nothing towards the cost of repairs. It has been a slight inconvenience travelling to car garages etc. but the customer service I received has been great and I would happily buy a car from Buy A Car in the future.

Quick, easy and efficient. A few clicks and pay a reservation fee, then leave it all to them. They rang to inform me of a delivery day and all I had to do was get it paid for and wait. Would happily buy through them again.

"Could of gone so wrong had it not been…"
Could of gone so wrong had it not been for excellent customer service: My van broke down and I needed something quick, I found a van that was suitable, BuyACar did all the checks on their end and when they went to pick up the van they said the van isn’t how the dealer described and sent me pictures of the van which was in an absolute state. I had signed all the paperwork and buyacar were ready to deliver it. Instead of pushing me into it like other companies I’ve used before they made me aware and were on the case to get me a new van ASAP, I found a better van a few days later and was delivered within a week. They were always easy to talk to, organised and completely transparent. I worked for a car finance company a few years ago and I was blown away how professional buyacar were.. so so so impressed. Thank you!!
