"Had a great time!"
We had a fantastic trip to Westgate Lake Resort! Our 2 bedroom villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. We would definitely consider returning for a future family trip. Only issue we had was that we left behind a phone charger, a brand new pair of men's name brand tennis shoes and a nice shirt that still had the tags on it and when we remembered them on our drive home we called the resort only to find out that nothing had been turned in. That was a bummer but I should have opened that closet on my final walk-through... All in all, it was a great time!

"Misleading"
I stood in the worst room at the hotel. Dial up microwave, leaky fridge and absolutely no room service. I was told by getaway deals that I would receive a $50.00 dining card it's actually $50.00 worth of coupons at only select places! Then I was told on the phone I would only have to pay $48.00 for taxes and fees when I checked in I paid an additional $68.56 for who knows what and the $48.00 on check in.

"No one at concierge desk upon checkin as advised"
I received several phone calls before my arrival asking the same questions and advised me what to expect upon check-in. There was no representative available for the first two days of my stay. This was very frustrating because I held up my end and complied with their instructions. Looking for a representative and basically stalking the front desk put a damper on my stay. Until I called the 800# complaints and escalations phone number was I provided a reservation day/time. I should not have exhausted so much efforts to track someone down for my appointment.

"Nice last minute getaway"
Hotel was very nice: quiet, conveniently located, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the same every day, but good and convenient. Sales presentation was friendly and not overly pushy. We had a great time with very little lead time or planning. Would definitely recommend it for last minute, budget getaway.

"did not receive what I paid for"
I paid for a king bed room at the Shular Inn in Pigeon Forge Tn. and was given a queen. It's about principle.

"Absolutely Awful"
The hotel we stayed at was nasty. Would've rather stayed at Westgate. No other incentives for staying there. The price to stay kept going up daily and the venue changed several times.

"Best Vacation Stay Ever"
The studio room is very nice and roomy, The property is located in a convenient part of town with Wal-Mart, restaurants, Disney World and much more in close distance. You really don't have to leave the property for anything because everything is on the property. It is well kept. I would stay again because it feels like you are at home.

"One Star is Generous"
I booked though GetawayDealz knowing it was a timeshare deal and I would have to attend a 90 minute presentation. To begin with, usually timeshare deals are on site. The place we stayed was clean but very dated and more on the line of a Motel 6.
We attended the presentation as required which was in a VERY noisy, chaotic large room...not like other timeshare presentations. We politely listened to the presentation. At the 2 hour mark, we respectfully said that we were not interested and stated our reasons. At that point the salesman got very rude even making personal inusults. His manager also became rude and left to go to another table. I stated that we had given them more than their allotted 90 minutes. At that point, the salesman crossed his arms and said it could take up to 6 hours before we were given our exit code (necessary so that we were not charged the $300+ fee for not attending). It appeared that he was just going to sit there and make more disrespectful comments just to take up our time.
After a few minutes of his comments, I got up and left leaving my husband and daughter to put up with more of his rude behavior. As I was leaving, I told my husband we would just pay the 300+ dollars so we could get on with our day. He stayed and received more unprofessional treatment but finally, after demanding to see managers, was able to get our code and leave. This was more an 3 hours from the beginning of our scheduled time.
I will also add that the $100 dinner voucher listed in the promotion was not usable at any place nearby and was not easy to use elsewhere. We have yet to use it.
My advice? Spend just a bit more to stay at the same low budget inn and spend your three (or more) hours doing something enjoyable....unless you enjoy dealing with rude, disrespectful salesmen. For the record, my husband is a sales manager so knows how professional salespeople should deal with clients. He usually deals well with even pushy salesmen, but even he was appalled at his sales approach.
