I was £140 for a plumber to call out and diagnose the problem which took 5 mins. Then he wanted £500 to fix a problem that required one hour labour. I called my usual plumber and he said he could see me in two days. I told him what the issue was and he said he would fix the toilet for £150. I got off the phone and told them to leave as they were trying to rip me off and 2 minutes later the office called and offered a 20% discount. I told them I wasn’t interested as it was still way too much. So basically I was charged £140 for a ten minute visit where nothing was done apart from them telling me I had a leak.My usual plumber called around a couple of days later, fixed the issue in 1 hour and charged me £150 like he said he would. PM247 are scumbags, avoid at all cost.
