Funds Recovery

"Sounds like your average collection agency"
I didn't go past the initial phone call with them.
I wrote them an email about what happened. They replied with an email that basically read how awfully hard it is to recover funds from a scam site and that they couldn't reach me.
No call was made to my cell.
I replied with my phone number again and I get a call from...Romania?
They are based in AU and IL and US I believe, but Romania? Okay.
The lady on the phone didn't really care about the details of how i lost my funds. A red flag.
They just needed basics on how much, which bank accounts and a 10% deposit to even start.
Which was just as a scam as my broker. I explained that since the previous scam took all I had - they can recover the fees from money they surely can recover.
The girl replied with an analogy of a carpenter. Well, i guess they will use the deposit to first make a table to work on.
Mind you, the startup fee is fixed 10%. The process to recover funds is the same. Be it a 100 or a 1000
So anyway, since i didnt have 6000 eur to send to another suspicious company who needed money now and results later, with yet another fee if they recover anything, they hung up.
Edit: As per their second call from Greece this time, I did admit my mistake. They have hotlines in AU and US, but they are based on Israel.
Capital.com was a 5 star brokerage when I gave them my review. Which was some 6+ months ago. Times change. So do companies and so do experiences.
About remaining proffessional: Seeing as your response has been quite emotional and based on false acquisations and your coordinator screaming on the phone how she is just a person like me...Yeah, I don't know about the professional part, but hey - we are all human. I can agree on that.
I said bye, absolutely. After the coordinator told me they can't help me without the upfront 6k eur. She said bye, I replied, polite as I am with bye. She hung up as part of my experience.
Is it also that a proffessional company goes on detailing what a potential customer wrote to them in trust? Naming the brokerage and all? How shameful.
At no point in time did I *demand* nor even *ask* nor *alluded* to getting the service for free. Slander. How shameful for such a "proffessional" company to stoop so low.
I think you are justifing my review and rating wonderfully Keep it up.
She did clear up that she entered a wrong phone number initially. Happens. No fuss. So that explains why she didn't reach me initally.
To clarify - 3 stars is a neutral review of my "experience" on dealing with this company. Like previously stated - I did not end up as a client and anyone who bothers to read this exchange can decide for themselves if this is...a trustworthy company to exchange funds and time with.
Bye.
Update #2: Funds-recovery.com is now in fact using slander.
I offered them to take anything I owe and expenses accrued from the funds they can recover. Seeing as I had a "good chance" by their words - what would have been the issue? How is it "free" If I pay.
Now, I can however understand that since they can't guarantee anything and they are a for profit company, they need to get their payday off the backs of scam victims anyway.
"Free"would imply I offered no compensation. I offered you to take it from funds recovered. That didn't work for you. Quite the red herring for a company claiming 90%+ recovery rate.
Sure. I will update my Capital.com's review. Just as I now updated yours to two stars after such wonderful initial experience.
See, my post is still about the *experience*. And if the initial experience comes down to this - maybe take a hard look at your renowed company.
Behind every review is an experience that matters - Trustpilot.
You made it very clear: No money upfront. No help. "We can't help you."
Now you claim you could have helped...
After the calls, screaming on the phone about your 3 star review, now you edit your comments to say - we would have helped. Yeah...If you really want to help anyone, you would let your stellar work do the talking. Instead of spending time worrying about reviews, why not earn the stars you grave for.
My experience is based on what you showed.
Update #(forgot):
So, having looked through the Trustpilot reviews: Majority of them are reviews from #1: Initial phone calls or e-mail exchanges.
#2: Just Eric being helpful on cases with low fund recovery.
I see only few reviews about money being recovered.
Why haven't you discredited those who didn't actually engage your services and left a 4 star review? They aren't even your clients! You best get on scolding them.
Also, some reviews are just plain questions.
Now, I see you are not beyond shaming other sites that advertise themselves much like you do.
That is up to you how you run your business.
Unfortunately - Trustpilot is limiting the amount of letters so I must end this informative conversation.
Kate never got back to me, tho :( maybe you can remind h

"Recovered Lost funds from an internet scam"
I am writing this review to thank Maria Goldenberg who works for Payback Ltd also known as Moneyback. She recovered all my lost funds that amounted to £27,000 she was that good she also comanded interest on top of the £27,000 where my returns covered some of the cost I paid to fight this case. Actually 5 stars is noware near enough to give to this Company. They were very professional in their approach and they also instilled positivity and gave you the confidance needed for you to trust in their abbilities to win your case. All I can say is Thank you Payback. Especially Maria Goldenberg.

"you will probably never see your money…"
you will probably never see your money again and they will get more money from you?
I am waiting for over half a year but they don't do anything for me. it's pretty sad.
If I ask what they are doing they are always doing "something" but nothing gets done.
beware of the positive reviews here. check those accounts out they do not seem so legitimate
