"Horrible customer service"
I ordered the product on the 14 day trial, and was quoted that I would pay $60 (approximately) if I did not cancel before the 14 days. I was a day late to cancel, and when I called customer service, they charged me $81 over the phone, which supposedly was to pay for the gifts that were "free" if you continued receiving the products, but since I was cancelling, I had to pay for them. Then, when I checked my credit card, they had also charged $42 for a recurring payment. When I called the company back, they said they could not take off the $42 and I would have to take it up with my bank. I told them that customer service had assured me that the $81 would take care of everything, and they would send me an email indicating that. I did not receive an email until after my second call to customer service, but the email said nothing about the additional charge. Bottom line is this is just another scam company wanting to scam customers out of money. The product is decent but the customer service is horrible.

Slow getting product out, 14 day trial was almost over before I got the product. Doesn't give you much time to try it for a while before you are charged.

…Just wanting to warn others that the 14 day trial and only having to pay a small tax & shipping fee upfront then being charged for the full product later if you decide to keep is false advertising. They charge for the full product upfront.
What’s sketchy is my email confirmation stated I only owed and was charged the $6.38 fee. Then I looked at my bank statement and it charged me for the full product as well. I called and spoke with their customer service and they explained to me it was a hold on my account but a “hold” should not be a withdrawal and I should have access to the funds but it was a complete withdrawal from my account balance. There was also nothing explained or highlighted on my confirmation email there would be a hold of any sort. I had paid $6.38 I was not told about a 14 day trial. I thought when the $6.38 was paid that was it. I ordered the wrong color foundation and called, the representative did help me get the correct color I needed. The make up is beautiful, I think customers should be given the full details on trial period when ordering. I am not please with $94.18 coming out of my account when I had already paid.

ordering and receiving the product was easy. It has been difficult to follow up to get a lighter shade bc the one I ordered didn't match. I wish there was a follow up email on the trial order for adjustments or changes.

I don't typically wear makeup as I found it to look and feel heavy. As I have gotten older, my face has uneven tones. I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I love how light it feels and evens my skin tones. I have tried many products over the years but this is the best by far. I would highly recommend Luminess.
