"An unauthorized charge was made to my credit card"

I registered for the free trial, but the company requires you to enter your credit card information to complete the registration. After entering your credit card, you can try it for 14 days. However, the software does not work at all. It can't even complete the simplest tasks properly.

When you try to delete your credit card information from your account, you cannot do it because your card is marked as the default card. Also, it asks for a password, but I registered using Google authentication and did not set a password. Therefore, I do not know the password, and I cannot remove my credit card information.

There is no contact page on the site, and there is no online support window. There isn’t even an email address for support listed on the site. There is no section within the software to create a support request either.

This software is a money trap designed to deceive people. I do not recommend registering for it in any way.

Octoparse proved to be an effective tool for web scraping. I utilized it to extract data from Amazon product pages across hundreds of URLs.

They were prompt in issuing a refund, grateful.

It was one of the simpler software I tested.
Update lagged for any missing features.
Support wasn't very responsive.

It's now not needed because of GPT AI, but compared with other scraping methods besides AI, it's easier.

Ce que j'ai le plus apprécié chez Octoparse, c'est son interface utilisateur simple d'utilisation. Même sans une expertise approfondie en programmation, j'ai pu facilement naviguer à travers les différentes fonctionnalités et créer des tâches de web scraping, habituellement ce genre de logiciel n'est pas évident à utiliser mais là c'était plutôt simple !

En tout cas beaucoup plus simple que le faire à la main...
