I have a LifePlan with RL360 and I'm very happy with their service. Even though everything is done remotely, it's been quite easy to communicate with them.
Another thing that made me feel ok getting an overseas plan is the fact that they're regulated in the Isle of Man.
Like any life insurance or savings plans, I understand that if I break the contract early in my plan, I may get less money but that's why it's IMPORTANT to read this before starting anything.

Having worked in financial services for 20 years I can honestly say this is one of the best offshore providers I have come across. The customer service and support are excellent and the company is constantly evolving to become more efficient with an excellent product range.

I have used RL360 since 2010 and over the years they have developed their savings and investment plans with lower cost and various choice of funds in recent years. The Offshore Market cannot be compared to onshore products as different costs are involved but RL360 have a great cost effective new savings plan and cost effective platform that accepts Open Architecture. I would suggest that if any client has a targeted term they maintain paying into the savings plan as YOU WILL make a profit with a diversified portfolio of funds on maturity as these plans are not meant to be similar to a bank account. I have been using rl360 for myself and clients for around 10 years and truly believe that their people and online systems are the best available to Offshore Brokers and clients alike. A special shout out to the two regional sales managers that have been very diligent over the many years of doing business...Steve N. & Richard LG have been exceptional.

"Terrible, terrible company"

Stay far, far away. Have worked with RL products for 7 years, trying to help people get out of them. Actual fees range from 3.5-5.5% per year, your money is locked in and if you want to take it out you pay anywhere from 30%-100% of your investment. It’s sad and just awful that this is legal where it’s being sold. The client is the only one that loses on this transaction, advisor makes a huge up front commission, RL makes their annual fee, and you pretty much have no chance of making any money over the long run. Don’t be tricked by the bonus stuff either, that barely brings you above break even.
