"Extremely Pi$$ed...I've Been Duped!"
First of all, the rep at Sam's lied. I told her that I have been with TXU only and no one else. I told her my bill has been $177 a month and that's the highest I have ever paid and can she do better? She said of course we can....(sucker). My first bill was approx. $196. My second, third and fourth bill have been over $200 and the bill I just received is $259.00 The scam is they tell you nights are free (BS) I keep my house at 84 friggin degrees during the day and turn it down to 80 degree when it suppose to be free. I would like for them to tell me how in the hell it has jumped so high from TXU. I NEVER paid a $200 electric bill with TXU and I kept the thermostat at 80 during the day. 78 degrees at night or lower and ran a small window unit during super hot days for my Alaskan Malamute.
By the way, their rep told me if I was satisfied, she would make sure I wasn't charged a penalty fee....another lie.

Customer service representatives disconnect your line to get you to pay more for rates and service charge. Meanwhile, they do not help you to resolve intentional overcharge problems. Customers need to take care of their problems.

Signed up 3 homes I own at Sams Club Feb. 8, 2019, this is Sept. 10, 2019. The young girls there assured me Just Energy would send me 3 $45 Sams Gift Cards, one for each home I signed up with. I have called customer service a couple of times to be assured they were ion the way " 4 to 6 weeks " they would say. 4 to six weeks have passed long ago both times, I wrote customer service on their site on " customer service ", no reply. I beginning to think " Bait-n-Switch'ed " !

Signed up at Sams with this nice young man! I take advantage of my free nights and now my bill stays under 100! Mind you I have a 3 bedroom house.

I have been with just energy for about four years. Everything was good until I found out I have stage 3 breast cancer. My service was disconnected last month for non payment because while going through chemo you have to pay for your treatments in order to stay ALIVE. I had to go back into sergury and by the time I got released from the hospital my service was disconnected again. I called just energy and informed them that I could have the money to them Friday and could place my debit card on file for payment and asked if my service could be restored. However the manager told me that the system would not allow them to issue a connection w/o payment. I thought just energy was for it's customers especially when temperatures are 99 to 100 degrees in Texas. I will be looking for another service provider. If just energy treats their customers like this when they are fighting to stay alive then I cannot do business with them.

"Don’t waste your time with these people!"
I signed up at Sam’s and was told I could cancel at anytime if I was not satisfied as long as I called in and noted it on my account. I kept the service for 3 months and decided to cancel because free nights was not working for me. The rates are ridiculous if you don’t use as much during nights. I’ve never paid so much in my life. I called and they tried to offer me a supposedly better rate for me which was also ridiculous at 14 cents. I declined and finally got them to note on my account. My last bill of course included my exit fee that I was promised would be waived. I had to call these people over 5 times until I finally got someone to help me and remove the fee. I check online for my last bill and they removed the $175 exit fee, but charged me the $150 fee they paid to have me switch over to their service. The lady that signed me up never mentioned this, but it is in the contract so my fault for not reading the fine print. Total rip-off. I’m now signed up w a company paying a little over 8 cents per kw.

"I was in Sam's Club and a pretty little…"
I was in Sam's Club and a pretty little girl approached me and gave me their spiel. Told me that their price was 11.9 cent per KWH including the Oncor charges, with no base charge,free nights, and no exit fee. Sounded good, so I decided to try it. She wrote the information out on a Just Energy card for me. The next month when I got my bill, it showed 17.8 cents per KWH. I called in and complained. They told me I had signed a contract showing 17.8 cents per KWH. It was an electronic signature, not mine. I reported to the PUC of Texas. Be careful what you sign, and read everything before signing. These people are Scammers! Don't trust them!

"Almost doubled rate/ no notice!"
I changed from the rate shield elite plan to a nights free plan. The EFL states the 2000 kwh will be @ 14.2cents, it's being charged at 20.4cents. With a note at the bottom: "Please note that your Energy charge has changed by .013063/kwh." On my bill it's a $147.00 difference. No notice, no reason just a small note on my bill.
Very dissatisfied with this issue. Now let's see what excuse I'm given.

"LIARS!!"
This stupid company mislead me like many of you. I was promised a $45.00 Sam's gift card and NEVER got, no one wants to own up to it, I'M ANGRY!!! I still have the flyer and it's a just energy plan, but no gift card. I'm sick and tired of LIARS!!! Don't enroll with these scam artists, I've warned you.

"Worst company ever"
Worst company ever. Door to door agent sold me their service. Was to take over my account on 8-8 when my current contract ended. they took over on 7-22 and therefore I have been billed a $135.00 early termination fee. I was quoted 10cents per kwh got the contract in the mail was actually 20.2 per kwh. Liars. Liars. I am still working to get my $135 back. incompetence. My case was escalated and some one was to contact me with 48 hours--that did not happen either. Then was told they need 3 more days. I waited still nothing. A Cheryl Privee was to call me back by 5:30 yesterday. Guess what still nothing. I have emailed them again. No response. I have reached out to my local TV station for help. I will be contacting my attorney need be. Run run run away as fast as you can. Scammers!
