"Wrong advice & rude manner from inappropriately named Customer Service representative"

My v bsy wife organised group pressies for our gransons & unfortunately sent them to no. 59, but he lives at 62. Oh dear. All arrived and were passed on except for a lego set, which came the next day. Unfortunately the residents at 59 now away for a week. Managed to check tracking No (H00IEA0041992925) but their tracking system simply told me it was delivered. Nothing else. So phoned Customer Service where I was brusquely told that Hermes delivierd the parcel and I should contact the supplier. Nothing else was forthcoming. While I was processing this and in the middle of speaking I was cut off.
Not great Customer Service. Fortunately it was a Hermes tracking number & their tracking system had a very helpful photo illustrating the delivered package nestling behind a black bin on some very distinctive grey & red parquet tiles
Whistl you could do better if you were bothered - link Hermes delivieries to their tracking system. AND educate your Custome Service staff to be more helpful & polite. Am NOT impressed & not surprised to see just 2 stars here!

Have used Whistl for a number of years now (they distribute magazines to our subscribers) and have always had a very good service. Our contact (Victoria) has been our contact for a number of years now and always strives to help us with queries. Would be more than happy to recommend and can safely say they are an important cog in our business wheel

"Irresponsible and unreliable"

Ordered items online with an expected delivery date of the 13th. Next day received an email from seller saying dispatched with a link to track item. Clicking on the link informs me that the delivery is due on the 13th as expected and provides a Whistl tracking number, which was an unpleasant surprise as I was informed my items would be delivered by royal mail. When I used the whistl tracking service I was told my tracking number does not exist and that the courier may have changed it which raises the question of how Whistl keeps track of items entrusted to them if tracking numbers can be changed at any point. On contacting the item seller they too were unable to find out from whistl where my items are so I am waiting for an update and am wondering what the purpose of whistl is, since they state they are not actually a courier. It seems they are making money out of picking up parcels and losing them on route to an actual courier/delivery service then shirking responsibility for finding them again. I cannot understand why any respectable company would associate themselves with such an unreliable and irresponsible company and I have expressed the same opinion in writing to my seller, I will avoid doing business with any company working with whistl and strongly urge others to do the same.

they claim to be the number one logistics courier in the uk, absolutely ridiculous

so i ordered something online, it was perishable

i track the order it says delivered, i was home at the time so already i find this hard to believe but i humour them none the less and proceed to their website for further help. according to the faqs, it could be left with a neighbour, or in a safe place - apparently this is 'normally' reflected in the tracking info. of course, there was no parcel, anywhere

the website then tells me to contact the seller, but still provides a link to online chat, so i decided to click it

after around a 30 minute wait, i had the pleasure of speaking with someone named 'kinga'

kinga was most unhelpful, company policy dictates that kinga could only help the seller and not the buyer, so kinga told me how sorry they were that they could not help

but it wasnt that they could not help...........simply that they would not help, and kingas generic and hollow responses did nothing for me

this was when i checked trustpilot and was not surprised by what i found so thought i would add my own experience which seems to be bitterly similar to others

also, take a look at the 12% of good reviews that they have, 99% of them are 'invited' and share the same types of wording etc

Absolute garbage.

I am told via Hermes that they have a Whistl order to deliver, though I haven’t ordered anything. They then ask for my post code, which I give them. They then tell me that my post code does not match the delivery post code and there is nothing more they can do. So now I apparently have a Whistl delivery in my name, not going to my home and nothing I can do about it.

I ordered an item from an eBay seller, who made the mistake of using this courier for an "express" delivery service. The tracking number I was given showed it had been dispatched and was out for delivery last week (30 July) but never showed up. 4 days later nothing has changed and the tracking info shows the same.

So, I had to contacted the seller, who said it appears that Whistl had lost the item in transit and they refunded me. Its incredible how these couriers stay in business as they are abysmal at their jobs. Avoid this courier at all costs.

Said parcel delivered but it was not. Driver provided delivery details, but it did not match the details of my property. I was then told I had to contact the sender. When I asked who the sender was they said they couldn't give me that information due to data protection act!

"Absolutely shocking"

This company is absolutely atrocious. Terrible communication, really slow to update on parcel locations or doubles up. Now the parcel has been delayed by a major event apparently. Think I should just accept that my new curtains will never be hung, well not in my house at least.
