My heart sinks if any third party Amazon order is marked as sent by WHISTL, don’t think I’ve received one yet, abysmal, even worse then Royal Mail and they are unfit for purpose.

I ordered a book in good time from Amazon for a Birthday present. It was ordered on 18th Aug and marked dispatched on the 19th. The carrier showed delivery for the 27th Aug, and on that day showed delivery before 8.00pm. It still hasn't arrived. The courier is showing an 'It's on it's way message'. It is coming from Manchester and going to near Lancaster (54 miles). In 17 days I could walk it! The Birthday has now long past :-(

I an currently awaiting delivery of a parcel from Whistl which is a day late. I understand that there are pressures at the moment which is why Whistl - take note - YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR TRACKING INFORMATION UP TO DATE!!! There is nothing on tracking fir my parcel since 12.14 30 August. I rang Whistl customer service to locate my parcel. Was told my tracking number related to Hermes and I should track via the Hermes site - why is that not made clear when the number is entered on Whistl Tracking? Checked Hermes site. Last updated at 12.14 30 August. States they are awaiting my parcel from Whistl. So I'm back at Square 1. No parcel, no update. Suspect Whistl have lost it as it appears never to have reached Hermes but who knows as Whistl appear not to update tracking information. I wonder
why is it necessary to give companies a star in order to post a review. I wouldn't have given this company any.

"Truly Terrible Service"
Truly terrible service. Have a subscription for Flea Treatment with Pets At Home and the package is constantly being delayed. I am lost as to why they choose to use this unbelievably awful courier. The tracking information is completely inaccurate and changes on a daily basis. Steer clear of this company.

You would think that it's hard for 70 litres of compost to go missing, but Whistl managed to lose a massive box (as l discovered when someone so far along the road l hadn't met them, turned up on my doorstep having been away on holidays). No card at either address, no email, taking no responsibility. The number of the house the package was dumped at was written in indelible ink on the front, right beside the label with the correct address. In plain view. It took a car and a kindly helper to get it to me eventually. Dire service. Order JD0002210478680150 If, as Whistl say, they delegated the job, they are still responsible (the merchant link connects with Whistl) , so l don't plan to change my review till l get a satisfactory response.
