My experience matches all of the reviews below. A £150 will come with an £80 import invoice a month or so later. They act in bad faith and whilst there is a vague attempt to say import tax will apply there’s no attempt at all to say it’s more than 50% of the total price of an already expensive product.

Complete rip off and customer service responses to this problem are pitiful.

Also had a debt collector letter saying I had to pay duty for the delivery of £85 on top of the £150 for the shockingly expensive blanket. An absolute disgrace!

I feel very cheated by this company, as it has a .co.uk address, mailing address in the Uk, everything on their website in pounds, when I purchased the product.
But don't let this fool you, these items are made in poland so expect there to be £60 in stealth tax added to your bill a month after delivery when the courier company ask you for cash.
You can buy these things in the UK much cheaper and without the hidden stealth charges.

"Awfully handled, shame as the blanket is lovely"

While the product is fantastic Gravity Blanket's approach to Brexit is to pass all the extra admin and costs onto the customer. Despite paying them VAT as a UK company we then have to pay a large import tariff and £24 in admin fees to FedEx for them covering this cost rather than Gravity Blankets shipping wholesale to themselves. The FedEx fees are also clearly meant for businesses not customers and the entire process is unhelpful to the consumer in every way possible as it seems to rely on you having an existing business account

Though this company appears to be based in the UK, the goods are imported from the EU so you will have to pay incredibly high import fees and admin costs. On a £150 blanket we have to pay import fees and costs of about £60, most of which is an admin fee because customs were not paid in advance - something which we had no option to do and which Gravity Blankets could have handled.

The biggest issue is we seem to have been given a business-facing invoice that we cannot pay and the customer service has been really awful in addressing this. It is causing us a lot of frustration and distress and the customer service staff have literally just said "Brexit has made things confusing" and offered no additional help whatsoever.

In future, I would purchase from third parties like Firebox.com who have already handled importing the goods. The Gravity Blanket products are really good but the company practices are so anti-consumer and customer service has been so truly awful that I could not recommend buying from them at all.

Ordered a gravity blanket and received it much faster than expected (to Denmark). After trying it out for a few weeks, I figured I needed a heavier blanket. I contacted gravityblankets.co.uk on email as advised, and within a day the new blanket was already on it’s way, I got it 3 days later, and a pickup to return the other blanket had been arranged from my adress.
Great service on this, but when trying out the pillow that is promised a 30 day satisfaction guarantee on, I was told I could return it on my own expense... That would cost me more than the pillow, so I’ll just keep it for my dog or something...
