As with the vast majority of reviews on here, TransUnion are clearly an incompetent and dismal organization, especially in relation to their competitors. Why has the regulator, ICO not investigated and acted on the public's concerns and experiences?

Appeals for disputed information continually denied despite hard evidence to the contrary, these guys make it impossible to appeal, very poor reflection on how they handle peoples information

I tried to purchase a washing machine on Samsung finance and this company declined, I’m house owner no mortgage or other financial liabilities and earn more then 35k, I was refused 600 pounds!
Awful company.

Company incorrectly downrated my credit score for not being on the electoral register (I am) and my longest financial relationship only being a few years (I’ve been with the same bank for over 45 years). Despite providing documented evidence of the above, they refuse to change these inaccuracies. I’ve raised complaints and it makes no difference. They are slow, inept and lazy.

Transunion offer an unwanted service to my Bank .I did not request from them to assess my credit record,They told me your record is good but regularly coming down , you need to be register at the Electoral Roll to verfy your identity ,as Transunion suggested I sent a letter to my the council of and they reply confirming my status.Transunion ignore the letter an continuing lowering my score…an incmpetent and unreliable service and why in the earth they decide my credit record ? a mediocre and unreliable service…l!!!!

my history is excellent on experian but poor on transunion. absolutely rubbish.

"Shambolic Company"

If I could score them zero I would. Absolute shambles of a company. I'm 999 on Experian but get just over 300 with them. Incorrect information that just isn't removed when a dispute is raised. They never answer emails or even acknowledge them.

I first heard of them when I totally unexpectedly got turned down for credit for the first time in my life. Then I found they provided the report which made me look like a terrible debtor.

How are they even allowed to operate in the UK. Surely this isn't right. They destroy your credit score then ignore you. Angry isn't the word!!!

Awful company. Tried to check my credit score with them, it didn't work, they charged me for it. Then they charged me a monthly fee to be a member, something I had no idea I was signing up to and would never sign up to - who would? Then I cancelled my membership and they said I had 5 days to continue to use their services, so I thought, might as well see if my credit score has improved, it didn't work again! Wow.

After years of cherishing my credit report with Experian and having a 999 score I was turned down for credit and couldn't understand why. Then I went through and saw it was a score with this GOD AWFUL company. I looked at my report and found so many inaccuracies it was like it was someone else's credit report!

Apparently I have no mortgage!? Really I wish!!

They were over £100k out on the balances of my accounts. This is absolutely absurd. HOW GOD TELL ME can a company like this literally ruin your chances of moving home and other things you work your life for when the information is totally and utterly WRONG!?
