They knowingly were presented with false Financial documentation and edited pictures from the landlord in a deposit dispute but just made the figures work in his favour. They didn't investigate anything just allowed him to present older pictures of the property, taken before Covid and didn't look at the videos we sent of the property when we moved in and out which showed the property in a clean state. Then refused to correspond with us further

I rented my newly-built property to "so called overseas corporate tenant" and they damaged several thousands worth of worktop in the kitchen. The
check-in check-out professionals stated in their report that there was a "deep chip" in the worktop in the kitchen. I find it utterly bizarre that the Adjudicator has found it appropriate to reimburse me £40 for the deep chip on the worktop. Additionally, the tenant was there in the property for 14 months only. On your website you claim that you take into consideration the number of years the tenant reside at the rental property.
I am payıng a huge mortgage every month and on top of that service charge and ground rent. It is not worth being an honest, hard-working and fair person as this is what you get in return. I will never use this company ever again as they are biased, unfair and unjust establishment.
It is evident from the reviews that you should be avoided by all costs. I have family and friends who are in the rental market I will warn them to stay clear of your corrupt services. In addition, I will be brutally honest about your scheme by leaving a one-star review on your website.

"I am a landlord and my tenant's deposit…"
I am a landlord with several properties in my portfolio.
At one of the properties my tenant's deposit was held with this company.
The tenant caused over £1000 of damage to my property and My Deposits awarded me a derisory sum of just over £300. This was despite me providing full proof of all damage sustained and costs incurred in bringing the property back to the condition it was in when the tenant had moved in two years earlier.
When I challenged the adjudicator's decision I received a "Dear John style" reply advising me that their decision was final.
At the outset of my claim to My Deposits I was asked to complete a rebuttal form to the tenant's claims without allowing me to see what the tenant's claims were. Ridiculous in the extreme!
I have transferred all of my My Deposits business for all properties to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme with whom I have never had any such issues in the past.

Terrible to deal with - all you get is boilerplate emails and unjust decisions from junior staff - which you agree to abide by - complaints process is a total joke and I have wasted hours in trying to get a proper response - even though I sent 17 videos and 100 before and after pics of the damage and how my property was left unclean and wrecked, the tenant got 99% of their deposit back - leaving me with a massive clear up and all the costs to do so. I am fuming about this outfit - I wish I had just sued the tenant now as I would have won for sure - even a complete idiot can see the state it was left in....well apparently not it appears.

The lack of professionalism was evident throughout the dispute, marked by negligence and mistakes. Essential evidence from my side was overlooked, and the tenant's rights were disregarded. Having my complaint dismissed without any rational justification, I am compelled to initiate legal action against them.

"Avoid at all costs"
As other reviews have stated, you should avoid at all costs. If your landlord asks you to use this service you should recommend one that does not work directly with the landlord and is independent.
I had the unfortunate case of using them, they ignored email and photographic evidence on my dispute. When I said I wasn’t happy with the outcome they refused to relook at the evidence or case.
