the online platform has human banking hours. M-F only. even though you pay online, the system will not record unless it is a business day. this is basically a scam to get more money for the HOA, to say you are late.

"Worst Customer Service Ever!"
Worst customer service ever! Login won’t work and their suggestions to fix it don’t either!! Gave me an email to contact IT for assistance and the email didn’t work either!! Apparently the only way to contact customer service is to wait on the phone for a couple of hours only to NOT get any help! This has happened to other customers I know. Very frustrating when you are trying to access YOUR money! When I can finally access my account I will close it out.

We did an equipment loan with CIT and it seemed okay at first and we were told there was only $369.00 early payoff fee... So we called to pay it off and they said that the way the loan was structured we needed to wait until we are over 50% through the contract...So, we called after we were just over the 50% to payoff again and they sent us a payoff with $890.46 of additional fees added in payoff and refused to break down the additional fees and claimed there isn't a supervisor that we can speak with. I would recommend not doing business with CIT!

"NEVER FINANCE ANYTHING WITH THESE CROOKS"
After 2 years and paying 7,000 dollars on a 12,000 dollar loan I still owe OVER 12,000. I am hit with $1200 in fees and rent charges on equipment I have financed. If Im already paying you to lease it how do I rent it from you on top of that. THE WORST PLACE A BUSINESS COULD EVER FINACE EQUIPMENT. No wonder small business go under, this is financial RAPE!!!

"DO NOT get a home loan with CIT"
Our broker used CIT for the home loan, and boy was this a painful and excruciating process. They are extremely slow and unresponsive, all the qualities you want to avoid when you are trying to close on one of the most important purchases of your life. Not only are they no help, they are a hazard to deal with. 20 days into escrow, they reject an appraisal that THEY ordered...
Then it took them 2 weeks for the final sign off after all that was sorted, while we are more than 2 weeks out of escrow. The people that work at this company should be ashamed of themselves. I don't care what rates they offered, the stress and the possibility of not closing on your house is NOT WORTH IT!
I REPEAT, CIT IS NOT WORTH IT.
EDIT: I messaged them on Facebook. No one reached out. Don’t be fooled by their disingenuous replies

"Password/ID Reset is AWFUL"
Good bank. But resetting your ID or password is painful. They send 2-3 text codes and email codes but when you get to the change password area you need to enter your old password. Ummm, duh! I wouldn't be here resetting my password if I knew it!
Needless to say, after several attempts of guessing my old password to set a new password (dumb). I got locked out.

"Wire transfer ruined closing a home"
Don't use this for wire transfers, the have technical issues and they stopped doing them at 10:30. Was supposed to close on a home on a Friday and because so them we can't move to our new house over the weekend and we had to delay a bunch of contractors. I will closing my account soon.
