"Fast & helpful"

I have used the Amersham branch a few times for punctures at various times. Most recently, I noticed a slow puncture so went first thing in the morning hoping they could help me out. I got there for 08:00, and was done by around 08:45 with the tyre repaired and ready to go.

In my experience so far the guys have been helpful, trustworthy and get the job done.

I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

"Had a nail in one of my run flat tyre…"

Had a nail in one of my run flat tyre on my Mini Cooper so went to Merityre Southfields, Wandsworth, London who replaced it for me there and then and checked the others. I set the system to reset, then drove home but it failed to finish the system reset. I rang Merityre and the young man said that Mini and BMW are notorious for issues in resetting the system so may need to be manually reset. He advised me to call into the garage. I did this and they were very helpful, especially Michael, who explained patiently how the system works. Apparently it can take anything from driving at 20 30 40 or 50 MPH to get the tyre to the right temperature which the sensor in each tyre needs to reach to measure the pressure correctly. He explained that it may take a run on stretch of road where it could reach and sustain those speeds. He drove it on the A3 for a while, it didn't work, got a failure to read the tyre message. Off back to garage, inflated 1 tyre, I then tried again short trip on the A3. No joy. Back to garage, Michael scanned the system from the OBD port, found some fault codes, cleared them suggested another drive, come back Monday if necessary. Anyway I drove car 3 more times that evening. As I was about to give up, display showed 99% complete, so went on A3 again kept at 50 MPH for good 6 minutes and..... success, reset completed, display showing pressure reading for all 4 tyres. All at Merityre were very professional and helpful especially Michael, who from my experience is a great ambassador for Merityre and will surely be at Management level before too long where he can instill his great knowledge and customer care skills in the workforce.

Have used Merityres Southfields, Wandsworth for three years and have always been happy with them. Twice for a yearly service and this year, so far, for an MOT. Will have a service there before the end of 2024. They are honest and courteous and I trust them.

Took my car to Merityre Chertsey today because I got a puncture. I needed two new tyres, they were very friendly and knew everything about the different tyres to help me make an informed decision about which ones to buy. I could have sat there all day, they were so welcoming and friendly, I will definitely use them again!

I have been using Merityre for a couple of years now. I have purchased tyres from them and had my car MOT’d. Recently I have had several mechanical repairs done, and all were done to a first class standard and a competitive price.
I think their customer service is exceptional. Telephone enquiries are dealt with by technicians who know what they are talking about. Very refreshing! A great asset to the Hazlemere community. A special shout out to Chris and his assistant. Thoroughly recommend without hesitation.

I have continuous great experiences from the Hazlemere branch over the years. This branch is always busy but that is a reflection of the reliability and service they offer. They have a a great reputation in the Hazlemere area and they most definitely are the 'go to' place for anyone that has a tyre problem. Recently I used their MOT facility and that was first class too. I needed work doing on my BMW and they did an excellent job at a very fair price, saving me money as my BMW dealer estimate was extortionate. Thank you again, definitely my recommendation for all car mechanics and tyre repairs.

"Merityre Basingstoke - honest & helpful"

I visited Merityre in Basingstoke this afternoon to check if they had a tyre in to replace my nearside front as had been told by another garage the tread was getting close to the legal limit. Phil, the assistant manager checked the tread and said it was nowhere near and showed me a tab of rubber on the tyre that was set at the 1.6mm legal limit you can use to gauge how close the tread is to this, and I could tell the tyre tread was nowhere near. I also asked about my air conditioning and he was very helpful re that. Because he was so honest and helpful I'm bringing my car back here next week to get something checked and something else potentially serviced.

I purchased two Good Year tyres from the Merityre branch in Bookham today. Down the years I’ve bought both tyres and a battery from this branch. In that time I’ve always been delighted by the price and service I have received. I always telephone around before buying to check what prices are available. I am a regular Costco customer and a big fan of Costco however not for the first time I couldn’t get their tyre bays to answer their phone and not just at one branch but two! The difference between these two company’s is when I didn’t get through to Merityre this morning, a few minutes later Tom phoned me saying they were sorry they couldn’t answer my call could they help me. How nice it is to get such good service, it’s quite rare these days. Keep up the good work, I will see you when I need tyres or a battery again.

"Called Merit, Abingdon after being let down by a Didcot tyre company"

After being badly let down by a tyre company in Didcot, I made a call to Merit, Abingdon.

The polite voice on the phone said “Bring your car in straight away…”

I did so and was greeted by the professional and friendly team member who filled out a job sheet.

I had a small slow leak on the front near side tyre, and they advised me that it might be 90 mins or so. I went off for a quick coffee in town.

Just under an hour later my phone rang, and they told me to pop back and collect my car.

Perfect service, friendly, helpful staff members, 100% customer focused and highly recommended.

Merit, Abingdon will now be my go to tyre depot.
