"It's a scam!!"
The gift card looked beautiful but had NO money on it. She held onto it because she loved how great it tooked but it had NO money on it when she went to use it. This is a scam.

Bought a giftcard for someone today and was a little worried when it wasn't delivered immediately and saw the reviews here when looking up why the card purchase was on hold. Decided I'd give it at least 3-5 hours and it was thankfully delivered via email about an hour and a half after I placed the order, so still pretty quick. Activation was quick and easy so overall happy with my purchase!

"Absolutely awful."
Absolutely awful.. I clicked on the gift card link at one point for Hotels.com, and the website didn't allow me to use it. I tried it on a different hotel a few days later to see if it worked, and when I clicked on the link it said it was no longer available, even though the gift card was never used. After talking to customer support multiple times, they kept sending links that continued to not work. Finally, I had a link that sort of worked, but it asked for my phone number. I entered the phone number that the gift card was sent to, to then be given the error that it was "incorrect" .... even though it was the only phone number associated to the order. I have had to spend countless hours with their customer support just to get one gift card! I highly recommend against this service.

"My problem resolved"
At first, I gave a bad review which I have deleted: I had sent a text message Macy's card to my grandson and he kept getting an error message, so I was upset and angry. Finally tonight after several days of error message, he got it to open up and be usable! In the meantime, Giftcards.com was eager to help me resolve the issue, and very helpful. Now I rate them 5 stars!

"The gift card I sent to my son"
The gift card I sent to my son, Michael Cooper, was for his Birthday on 9/17/24. When he tried to open it, it said not available. I called and your Company sent the e-mail to me, and I also could not open it. They said it may take up to 5 business days to fix this. You ruined my gift giving! Extremely disappointing!!! This should have been taken care of immediately on his Birthday!!!

"ETA - Resolved. Card never arrived and can't track where it is"
FINAL OUTCOME - I did receive a direct email about my situation, followed by a full refund. I couldn't get in touch with anyone except for leaving this review.
I will increase the star rating because it was resolved. But be aware that getting a person to talk to you at the giftcards.com website is difficult.
ETA - Giftcards.com reached out after I left this review and requested more information, which I submitted 2 days ago. We will see if they actually communicate with me and figure out what has happened. The person I sent the card to really needs to receive it, and I need a reliable place to safely order and ship gift cards, as I will be sending many in the future.
Original review - I placed my first order at the website on Sept. 19. It did not arrive to the recipient's address, yet the order says "fulfilled" online. There is no way to track the delivery date. Truly, it doesn't say when it shipped out or when it was delivered! There's no way to get anyone to help. No live chat agents. No live person on the 800 phone number. I emailed to open a case last week. No reply. Won't be using this site again. I'll wait a little while longer before I dispute the charge on my credit card.

You said the card would arrive by Oct 3, is it is not coming today per my local post office. My local post office has proof this card never arrived at their location. I want my money refunded, I want the card cancelled. You need to call me I am sick and tiered of dealing through a third party!

"Nice but Lacking "
This is my second time buying a gift card for my 5 year old grandson which he loves. While I like the customization of the card, the company lacks good customer service for the customer's inability to reach them by phone when needed. Email unfortunately is the only option.

"Bad!Bad!Bad"
Bad!Bad!Bad! Do NOT buy gift cards from them. Never had an issue like this before with other companies, but this one is not getting my business anymore. First, they don’t follow timeframes. Second, they had the worst customer service I ever encountered. They don’t reply emails, they don’t answer phone calls (tried for 3 days, and I’m always waiting longer than 30 min, when I give up!), and the chat? Horrible. Took them 15 minutes to reply to my first question. They apologized for the delay in sending my 2 gift cards but said it was fulfilled. When I confront them and ask for my tracking number, the representative said “actually it’s been processed but it is still in our possession”. But when I asked why the automatic server says my order number doesn’t exist, he said it was an error. WTH??? Is this company a scam?

They are lying when they said they sent me an email and I didn’t reply. They did send me an email through this website and I immediately replied with all the information they asked (my email, my phone number and order number). So, If they really wanted to contact me directly they could have use my email or my phone number, and they did not. Do NOT trust them!

Now they deleted the message saying I didn’t reply to them, saying they got my info and are trying to resolve the issue. Still nobody had contact me yet. I will keep reviewing until this is solved (or not).

I received my gift card yesterday. Balance checked ok!
While I appreciate my order being fullfield, I won’t take back anything I said and probably won’t do business with them in the future, as customer service is inexistent and i had to come here to get help. Shouldn’t be that way, as I only did that because everything else let me believe at first that the website was a scam.

"Stinky Customer Service"
Stinky Customer Service. Took hours to get someone to chat with & when someone Finally got connected they answered extremely short & angry & before I had a chance to reply they ended the Chat on me, what a shame (I think the rep's name came up as Luis F)
