"Bath handles held in place with a grub screw!!"

I had an Eastbrook bath fitted on 07/01/2025, my plumber advised me not to use the bath for 24 hrs so that the sealant could "cure" The following day, when I had my bath I grabbed hold of the handle, which immediately came away from it's housing. When I checked why, I noticed that the handle was held in place with a grub screw (no thicker than a matchstick). This design is totally unfit for purpose and a safety hazard. I was asked by the local supplier, "what do you want to do? As the bath was already fitted, I am left with a product I'm not pleased or satisfied about. IF anyone even thinks about buying an Eastbrook bath, remember to check the handles before you purchase which are held in place with a grub screw, don't be another unhappy customer " victim"like me.

"Update. Doors promised for Dec and now told END OF FEB but they haven’t said which YEAR .AVOID THIS COMPANY"

AVOID THIS COMPANY
We had our bathroom refitted in APRIL 2024, they sent 2 different sets of doors for the unit we are still waiting for the correct doors. 9 MONTHS, they don’t care about customers, will just ignore you. Don’t know the meaning of customer service.

"It’s understandable why they haven’t claimed this site"

I was ready to write a long negative review about this company, but after coming on here and reading the existing reviews, I don’t think it’s necessary. You can clearly see how this business operates. What I will say though, there also appears to be at least 2 companies that are just a drop shipping front for Eastbrook, that’s Bathroom Deaks and Radiator Deals. These are the same company and they just take your money and assuming a large slice of the payment (that’s if they’re not actually owned by Eastbrook) and then they don’t want anything to do with you, you’re just left to deal with the lying and extremely poor service of Eastbrook. It certainly appears to me, Eastbrook and any associated company offer the same level of extremely bad customer service, which is why they make it so difficult for you to link them. They appear to use fronted “businesses” to get your money, ti then use their actual business to process and deliver the items. Judging by these reviews, you can certainly see why. AVOID at all costs.

"Very poor experience"

I bought a new Eastbrook Trade P-shaped bath and curved shower screen from a local bathroom supplier and had them fitted by a reputable local firm of bathroom fitters, exactly as per instructions. Since day 1, the shower screen has leaked. I have gone back to the supplier who has consulted Eastbrook and been told it is 'a mastic issue'. This is clearly ridiculous when the design of the screen and the bottom seal are letting water through, to the extent that it is coming through the ceiling below. No amount of mastic can prevent this when it's a basic design flaw. It's clear that this screen is not fit for purpose and cannot be used for showering. Eastbrook didn't want to know or help once the items were bought and fitted, they just said the products met with the British standard so nothing more they could do! I am left with no option but to rip out a brand new bath and screen to fit replacements from a different manufacturer that are going to fulfil the basic purpose of keeping water in the bath/ shower. Will never consider Eastbrook again and feel as though I've been completely ripped off. Avoid.

"Started Well, but all went Pear Shaped"

Just to add to the stockpile of negative reviews, I am still having no joy resolving issues experiences with my purchases from Eastbrook. Radiator fitting instruction provided were wrong, customer services did offer some help but eventually they gave up and pointed me back towards the company that I purchased the items from. Escalation hasn't worked either - despite prompting the Area Manager has made not effort to get in touch, 2 months after he was contacted. I'll now be raising a complaint and looking for a replacement item - having laid out Additional refitting amounts for my plumber

"Bad product don't buy"

Bad product don't buy
Bought a very expensive shower enclosure, where the fittings are badly engineered and came lose every few months. Customer support went round and round on some stuff that weren't explained in the instructions and always blame the fitter. In the end I ended up buying appropriate fittings and solving the issue myself. NEVER AGAIN

Customer care is a disgrace, you supplied 2 column radiators. Both have started leaking from the gaskets. No attempt to even help.

"7 failed collections - ghost drivers."

I purchased an item for £800 from bathroom deal. It was damaged on arrival and EASTBROOK is the company managing the delivery of replacement and pickup of the broken item collection.

EASTBROOK have 7 failed attempts at collection, the driver never arrives and I’ve requested a call in advance for a 30min warning every time. They haven’t buzzed on my building door any of these times. This has taken place over a 3-4 month period.

I asked the customer service to tell the driver to leave a voice message or text as well as call. The response “we aren’t Amazon”.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.
