"Belittling RingCentral Representative"
We were in the process of signing up to represent this company and began to have cold feet. We started to ask questions and not feeling comfortable with the high pressure tactics of the representative. He became very argumentative and belittling when we began to question things. We ended the call because of this representative’s anger. We sent a nice email and the response from him was more belittling. Definitely not a company I want to represent. We will find a more reputable company to represent

The put in 2 years contract and automatically renew it without your permission.
It is just a poor business practice on the part of RingCentral for customers to keep track of 30 days windows after two years to renegotiate their contract or they have to wait another two year to update the contract. All I am asking is that things change in two years and it would be a good practice to call customers after two years to offer discount or promotions. I have requested a phone call from their contract department and once I speak with them, I will update my rating/experience. Thanks

"keep charging for canceled account"
They have now, two years in a row, charged my credit card for an account I immediately canceled and which I (provably) never fully activated. From now on these just go direct to CC dispute. Contacting them is a waste of time.

Edited: So actually I would like to keep my review , after a long conversation that I had with ring central I want to let everyone know that they are unclear with the agreement you will sign, you can not cancel your subscription at all! you have to pay for next year. they automatically renew it without letting you know! the only option to cancel it is by calling exactly 30-40 days before renewing the agreement otherwise they will charge you another year ! :))
so dear Ring Central! I would love to keep going and give my honest review about the experience I had with you guys! even if I save one person to not fall in your trap

This reply message from RingCentral doesn't fly, and is very deceptive. Not only did RingCentral delete my call recording without my consent. The never mentioned before about a 90 days threshold the any recording will be permanently deleted, now this is when things get weird, my outgoing calls and incoming calls is stored on the mobile app for more than 2 years as well as text messages 2 years and longer. Why would I think my call recording will be limited to 90 days before they're automatically deleted? This is very strange and it will soon be in a Civil Court hand. I thought my recorded calls was protected but they wasn't. I was a loyal customer for 5 years and this is unacceptable and I am filing a lawsuit and that's final. I don't trust this company and there abilities to ignore the importance of the calls recording I have requested has been poorly handled and managed basically all the representatives now leave me on hold for hours pretending like they will get the call recording but just hangup, and there Data Retention Department, wouldn't help just send a email saying there's nothing they can do but I need to contact Tech support or the Legal department. I have reach out again and again send Court Supeona and everything they ask and still the same old story nothing they can do but send me screnshots of my calls. I will not recommend RingCentral and I will be filing ligation and they will have to let the Court address all my concerns. I will not allow this to happen to me and I been paying for 5 years and counting and now I am told we sorry that's not acceptable poor business practices taking in alot of my hard earned money and other customers but trying to save of data storage. I think that this is ground for a Investigation on the handling of important Call Recording that RingCentral is offer to business for a price and never mentioning about a 90 day Completely Deleting Call Recording Data. That's very concerning for a business to not have the same time period text,call logs, or stored for 2 years or longer. This is beyond disappointing. I Have a legal matter my Call Recording Proves Prosecutoral Misconduct & my Attorney agreed that this is Misconduct but what could you do.Now the company I trusted with my business phone service didn't preserve my Call Recording. NOW I am further disappointed that I was told if I am law enforcement, I could get the deleted data it is preserve but not me as a RingCentral Customer. This is a scam and I have begged for my call and shouldn't have to be susceptible to this company disregard for the importance of my call recording or any business call recording. I received a email from Tech support asking me to give feedback because they feel bad for what has happened to me and so they call try to change these misleading tactics, I want my call recording. Or I will see RingCentral in Court. Don't Trust RingCentral they taking in a bulk load of our hard earned money but no real oversight for they misleading tactics. I am suffering a lost for this ,improper deleted call recording and now it's causing a criminal and legal battle to hold accountable those who have violated my Civil Rights The Color Of Law, I feel victimized by RingCentral all over again I DON'T RECOMMEND RINGCENTRAL AND DO YOUR RESEARCH ON RINGCENTRAL AND BECAREFUL WHAT YOUR BUYING INTO SCAM TATICS AT A VIRTUAL PHONE SYSTEM LEVEL RINGCENTRAL!

La peor compañía que puedan obtener, son horribles, no saben nunca nada, nadie te da una respuesta concreta, te dicen así mismo: "No sé" Te transfieren de un departamento a otro y el otro departmaneto sabe menos que el anterior. Que desastre!! Lamento no haber leído los reviews antes de obtener una línea con ellos. Si quieren evitarse muchos dolores de cabeza no contraten los servicios de esta compañía.

DO NOT EVER USE RINGCENTRAL. FIND ANY OTHER VOIP PROVIDER. THE WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD.
We've had a VOIP account with RingCentral since 2018. This is one of the dirtiest companies in the world. They are simply just flat out liars. Horrific, almost non-existent customer service. It can take hours just to reach an agent on chat. They constantly have major technical issues. It can take hours to reach an agent by phone. Each time there is a software upgrade it has reset my pin locking me out of my own account. Each time there is a software upgrade it has reset my voice mail greeting from a custom greeting to the default with the custom greeting being lost. I've contacted them numerous times as attempts at international calls are blocked. They fix the problem and then it happens - again - international calls are blocked. These clowns think you have nothing else to do but stay on hold while they fix their own mess. They have no respect for the value of your time. They have no answers for their failures. And now it turns out that an account I was told could be cancelled at any time (in fact there is a clear cancel process on their website inferring that you can simply cancel) is subject to a contract that obligates me to pay $41/mo. Every decent company in the world provides a notice prior to auto renewing a billing agreement. Except for RingCentral. Their deceptive business practices should get someone's attention for a class action lawsuit. Someone has to stop these people.
UPDATE: ONCE YOU FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB or leave a negative review with TrustPilot - you get a reply within hours. It is almost laughable that the complaint response times AFTER they have already lost you as a customer are faster than the response times that might have allowed you to remain a customer. Talk about an upside down organization.
2ND UPDATE: The RingCentral system is apparently to bog you down with scheduled phone calls (they want you to be available at your phone for a 2 hour window) to discuss the situation. Now there is a 2nd rep involved from a different department that also wants a phone call scheduled. We're talking about a $41 monthly charge and they are stretching this out over 2 departments? Apparently no one has the authority to make a $41 decision at RingCentral. I'm guessing this massive amount of money requires an approval from the CFO.
THERE is something funny in all this - When RingCentral calls you (a phone number on their network) from their corporate office the caller ID shows up as SUSPECTED ROBOCALLER. Now that's funny I don't care who you are !
POSSIBLE FINAL UPDATE: It took about 2 weeks of RingCentral's stalling and posturing but they finally agreed (under promise of additional reviews filed everywhere) to cancel my account and agree not to charge their ridiculous early termination fee ($41/mo for the rest of what they claim is the balance of the contract which might have been close to $300.) So you can get rid of RingCentral - it just takes persistence and some writing skill. But it doesn't change anything - DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. Instead of doing the right thing immediately up front - they make you jump through hoops and show a complete and utter disregard for the value of your time and after all the diddling around and time wasting they would like you to know that they have moved heaven and earth to make an exception - just for you. You rarely see this level of arrogance and narcissism in the way a company operates.
