Twilio has worked very well for us, and when we've needed support it has been quite fast and thorough. We've been using their SMS sending service for a couple of years now and I've noticed an improvement in quality over these two years, in terms of delivery speed and reliability.

We have been doing some development with their voice and voice conferencing systems as well. These appear to be thorough. Cost is fairly high for these compared to SMS which we find very affordable.
