"Disgusting business model"

Disgusting business model, very over aggressive subscription model which should quite frankly be illegal, No notification that you're signed up for the "VIP" pass once purchase has been made and no correspondence after the fact.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

"Be wary of monthly forced purchase scheme "

The direct debit credit monthly FORCED scheme is a total rip off and very difficult to stop. It is also very very difficult to contact Fabaletics to cancel and get refund of funds once trapped in the scheme always very difficult to contact. There is a Fabaletics complaints and redress group on Facebook with over 750 members all who have been ripped off by this scheme and company. Be very wary of buying from them unless you like being conned into forced monthly buying. Pity there clothes are good but there policy is a disgrace and a rip off

"Great leggings shame about the customer service and the con of VIP membership!"

I have order several items and always been impressed with the quality. I recently went on holiday, whilst outside the UK I attempted to skip the month but the website would not allow me access outside the UK. I attempted to email and my emails were ignored.
When I returned home I contacted fabletics to explain the issue, I would cut off twice from the chat so emailed and they told me I either need to use the chat or call, which I difficult when you work and there only open 9am to 5pm. Long story short they refused to give me a refund but also could explain where in the T&C's it explained you cannot skip a month outside the UK.

I am now left with a credit for goods up to the value of £80, which I paid £54.99 for. However, most goods on the site are between £40 - £50! So the perk to being a VIP member is you have to pay more for the goods than a non-member!

The actual stuff is nice but the VIP stuff confusing & the ‘buying credit’ even more so - the website is also terrible - no Apple Pay & so slow. Keeps deleting basket etc.

"I have previously ordered two pairs of…"

I have previously ordered two pairs of the powerhold leggings on the subscription offer two for £24. Best leggings I have ever worn. I thought this was such great value. So comfortable, true to size, good compression feel and love high waist as very flattering, they feel expensive compared to competitors I have tried. As for the subscription, it is very easy to skip a month if you’re not wanting a credit. I’ve just ordered another pair of powerhold leggings on the current offer for VIP members and they cost £24. So worth it. They have great offers and keep you updated with them via email. Up to now a very good experience with this company.

"Suspicious cancellation of my order - "

I've used Fabletics products and they are great quality. However, they are a horrible business to buy from.

I made use of their offer for new VIP members to order some goods at very good prices, having carefully read their terms and understanding that I can either pause the monthly payments before the 5th of each month or cancel the membership entirely "at any time".

I placed my order on 1st April. On the 3rd and 4th I decided I needed to pause it for the month, but the option was not available - it felt as though it might have been hidden because I recently ordered. I therefore had to cancel my "membership" because I couldn't afford the approx. £50 charge. As it says on their website, you can pause as many times as you want and keep your benefits - or cancel at any time. I eventually found an option to cancel in my account and was able to do so.

My order was already shipped - but suspiciously stopped moving through the tracking on Evri after I cancelled my "membership". I suspect that Fabletics may have tried to cancel the delivery and have the items returned. I tried contacting the courier but received no updates, so chatted with Fabletics on their website.

They told me that "oh yes, it's been flagged as lost on our system", (thanks for telling me...) and that they'd automatically refunded me as a store credit (without asking me...). I asked if they could just resend the goods I had paid for, but they refused and said "just order them again". This felt wrong - it's my understanding that if an item is lost in transit, the customer has a right to request that they re-send the goods they've paid for. I asked for this and was told it couldn't happen because they'd already decided to give me a store credit. I moved on and tried to do as they suggested and place another order...

When I tried to order again - I was not able to reactivate the VIP membership to get the goods I had paid for at the same price - in fact it was going to be more than double. I suspect that they didn't like me cancelling my "membership" and blocked me from rejoining - effectively punishing me despite me acting entirely within the terms stated on their website.

I called their customer services team and after escalation was told I could place the order again and *call them* when my items were in the basket to see if they could apply the original offer - which felt like a deliberately obstructive process.

Fortunately, they ended up agreeing to refund to my payment method - but I still can't believe they thought they could just give me a store credit in the first place.

Overall, the whole experience leaves a bad taste in the mouth and I doubt I will purchase from Fabletics again. I checked the terms of their VIP membership very carefully before ordering and believe I acted entirely within my rights. It feels suspiciously like Fabletics recalled the delivery after I cancelled my "membership" and tried to keep my cash without notifying me.

"My child (16 years) ordered leggings in…"

My child (16 years) ordered leggings in November from this site she has since been charged £54.99 a month. Initially she did not realise that this was happening g and once she made us her guardians aware I have emailed the company in regards to this they said they would stop the DD however it has again been debited from her account this month. When she ordered the leggings she gave her date of birth 2007. These payments are in breach of the Minors Credit Act of 1987.

"Best leggings ever. "

I've had no problem with these at all. I brought 2 pairs of leggings they are the best ever. I forgot to cancel, so I got onto live chat and the man that helped me was very helpful and all been cancelled and money is being refunded.
