When it comes to golf gadgets I’ve had them all from Garmin to lasers to apps but when I got the latest from SkyCaddie I was blown away at the data the Prox5 gives me. It’s quick to get a signal and I had an issue upon registration where I couldn’t get to the next screen but called support and it was because my address was missing. I couldn’t be happier with this device.

My Skycaddie AIRE II has been working fine but when I went to update it (as membership had exprired) I had a problem.
I was informed that USB support is no longer available, and cannot update my membership because of this. Their Support responses about USB not being as secure as wifi updates or bluetooth updates is laughable too - shows how little they actually know about technology, and will spout any old nonsense to appease customers.
What they have done is nothing but extortion in my opinion, rendering perfectly working devices unusable.
Avoid at all costs would be my feedback.

My screen started to not respond to finger commands (SkyCadie 500). I contacted SC services and was told it had to be replaced at a replacement price. I opted for the 400 model, less expensive. I play with other players who have SCs and my distance on the 400 model is often (20% of time) different +- by 5 yds or more. I verified this against laser range finders. My conclusion is that the 400 model is not as good, reliable, as the 500.
