"Renewing is a joke"
First let me say that I love my sky caddie when I'm on the course. I'm on my 2nd one and have had zero problems with it. I was on the auto renewal plan but I had to change credit cards this year so forgot to update it before the new start date. (Who can remember all the accounts you have set up with the same credit card?) But the renewal experience was awful. The man on the chat system was beyond worthless and seemed impatient even. He kept telling me to click on something that wasn't on my screen. I finally got it restarted without any help from him but the process was FAR from customer friendly.

"Everything about SkyCaddie is great"
Everything about SkyCaddie is great. Love my SX400! The addition of the free 3 dozen balls for the 3 year subscription is a very nice touch. I've been a loyal SkyCaddie customer going way back to when the SkyCaddie Touch was introduced. Great products and great, friendly and knowledgeable customer service. SkyCaddie checks all the boxes!

"My membership was due for renewal on 24…"
My membership was due for renewal on 24 August ‘24, but as I wasn’t playing much, didn’t renew it until 22 October ‘24, yet renewal date is now showing as 24 August ‘25, a loss of 2 months membership.
Beware of this situation when you renew your membership that you lose time when you renew post renewal date.
UPDATE: Fair play to SkyCaddie, they’ve sorted the renewal date and moved it to account for the 2 months originally lost. We’ve another one to renew, I’m hoping there’s no repeat when I do it this week.

"No support of discontinued models"
I had a skycaddie aire and was informed that they no longer support this device, but they certainly wanted to sell me a new one. No thanks, I will switch to Garmin. Their suggestion was that I throw it in the trash.

"Once bitten twice shy "
After playing in an open event where one of my playing partners used a Skycaddie I purchased a new SX550 model in October 2021. I used it for about 12 months both in the UK and abroad without any issues but then noticed a problem with the speed of charge. Sometimes it took several hours to recharge before eventually ceasing to operate after 22 months. I contacted the UK office (SkyHawke Technologies in Buckinghamshire) . They advised that they couldnt offer a repair service and could only check the power lead. I recently noticed that refurbished models are being offered for sale so today I checked to see if the situation had changed. No such luck all that is available to those of us with a failed device is a discount on a new model.
I think I would be better off looking elsewhere
