I had a Skycaddie Pro 5x.
I bought a Double Eagle plan Membership in the UK so I could use it in the Dominican republic.
I synced it in the UK so I could play the course today and use my Skycaddie.
It didn't work.
It didn't work even though I had Sync my Skycaddie before I left.
I have felt I have wasted my money buying a new Machine as I got a free subscription for a year Birdie one.
I am not very happy when I contacted Customer services.
I would Avoid getting a Skycaddie as this is my 3rd one now.
Each time losing money on them when I sell them.
Stick with Garmin or devices with Preloaded courses and no fees.

Impossible to renew, sent back to log in repeatedly. Have never been happy with this product, slow to load and expensive compared with eg Garmin. Avoid Avoid Avoid!

I love my Pro 5X handheld and LX5 watch. Great battery life, user friendly, very reliable and accurate. Syncing and updating is so much easier now that it can be done through wifi plus the courses are preloaded. There's no doubt that SkyGolf has the best GPS units out there and provide excellent customer support.

I first became familiar with this product at a trade show. I was impressed with the presentation and the quality of the product presented. In the end, I experienced wonderful help with the sophisticated Pro5x. I highly recommend this company, customer service was top notch!

I purchased a Pro5X after meeting a SkyCaddie mapper (Mike) who was updating our course. He took time to show me how the SkyCaddie worked and the information I would receive when using the device. I was simply blown away at the information and how it was displayed. The green information was so valuable to me as they have added my course green zones, and it get me the information I need to be able to execute the shot I need for the distance I am wanting. I could have spent the money and bought a new driver, but that would have been used about 12 times a round, I use the Pro5X on everything except my putts. My golf buddies are now asking me for distance, and I tell them it's 15 miles to Edwin Watts to get yourself a SkyCaddie.
