I’m absolutely thrilled with my Japanese Master Chef Knife Set! I got it around six months ago, and I’m still blown away every time I use it. Friends and family who come over can’t stop complimenting the amazing craftsmanship. These knives are super sharp, making it so easy to cut through anything!

While these are not the highest quality knives I've used, they for sure are the best knives i've used in my home kitchen. with a wide variety of full tang blades in beautiful dark wood handles, it's hard not to be impressed. I do have a small amount of trouble keeping them sharp but with the optional sharpener it's easy enough to sharpen after several uses. all in all I'm quite pleased with my purchase.

"Bought a cutting board"

Bought a cutting board, it warped and cracked within a month. Contacted them. Said they would send another one. Months later nothing. Had to contact again. This was not shipping delays. They never sent the first replacement. I have the emails and the tracking. After I contacted them a second time, MONTHS later, they finally resent another one. Also warped and cracked.

I appreciate the craftsmanship and the way they conform to my hand. Cutting technology is second to none. I am not a chef, however I cut my fair share of meat and love how smooth they cut. Once you try them you will just ask yourself why you have Waited so long to purchase one!

"“Buy expensive… buy twice” "

Bought the set of 8 Seido knives with the block. They came and they looked beautiful. I’m very particular about the knives I use in the kitchen and I am of the opinion that “if you buy cheap you buy twice”. This set was what I believe a, fair to expensive price bracket. I have looked after the knives, making sure they go nowhere near the dishwasher and they are hand washed and dried after every use.

I have had these knives for 2 months now and to my surprise there appears to be rust on 2 of the knives. These are meant to be Damascus forged blades and of “premium quality” yet a set from my local supermarket would have lasted longer.

So in this case… “buy expensive, buy twice”


I will not be purchasing these knives again, I will simply go elsewhere. You have lost an admiring customer due to the quality of the blades

Knives are very sharp as advertised, disappointing rust formation on brand on blade occurring after first few days use after care was performed after use.

The knives were exactly as described and excellent quality. Did not take too long to receive them either. We love the knives and have ordered more, and will definitely get more in the future.
