"Better Deals But Online Promos are a Scam…"

Just because everyone is doing it, doesn't mean you have to do it too. You do have lower prices than other retailers, but advertise the real price without the high hidden fees (and then you try to not call them hidden fees when they are). Your customers are not as stupid as you think they are.

WebEyeCare does have better deals than other contact lens site when you do a comparison.
But they grab you in with a really low Online Promotion rate of $11.95. Then when you check out you're charged a $70 processing fee. The fee varies based on how many boxes you ordered. So if you order 4 boxes at $11.95, they will charge you a $47.80 "Processing Fee" with some fake schpeal about how their competitors hide their fees. Well, they hide it until checkout. However, in my case when I did a cost comparison per box, it came out to $23 per box (instead of the $11.95, I thought I was getting), but was still cheaper than their competitors. So you still get a better deal but they scam you on the promo to lure you in. Their customers know what they are up to, they should give us more credit instead of pissing us off and giving us an icky feeling at check out.

WebEye has an easy to order website. I’ve never had a problem with ordering and I love the rewards points. My contacs arrive within a little more than a week!🤗

"Supply Chain / Backorder BS"

Ordered, Processed and then "Bam" now backordered for over a month. Of course, you have to go after them to get a backorder date, the "reason" and their reply includes the ever present "global supply chain" excuse.

On their website...
"With the exception of custom or made to order lenses, any order placed and prescription verified before 1pm eastern time will usually ship the same day. Orders placed after business hours will be processed the following business day."

Other vendors can source and get the contacts I needed in one week.

"Global supply chain shortage" will be their reply to this review, to that I say " get your own platform and IT systems in order." The tech (an industry I work in) does this for every Industry.

This isn't the first time they've done this to us...Avoid!

"This is the first time I am writing a…"

This is the first time I am writing a bad review, and I am sorry that it’s your company Webeyecare.
My daughter ordered her contact lenses since Nov. until last week she was so excited when getting an email/text saying the order is on its way, thinking it was perfect time for her Cali’s trip. 3 days before the departure, she found out that they didn’t have the street address on the label so the package will be sent back to sender. I called right way and arranged shipping next-day and willing to pay the difference for the shippment. The associate said he will ask the manager for approval and call me back. I waited, no one call me back. Next morning, I called as soon as I could, asked if they can send the package with “next day” to Cali, I am willing to pay for shipment. The associate took the address, asked for my credit card number, again, said will have the manager call me back. I have waited all day, no one did call me back. Such a bad customer service. I am filing a complaint, and will call to cancel my order tomorrow.

After more than a week they sent me an email saying my contacts were backordered. Then they would not let me cancel the order. Awful customer service. Avoid them. Another 0nline vendor got the contacts to me in a week. Global supply chain shortage is an excuse. And theren is no excuse for not letting me cancel the order if it was backordered.

"Do not order from WebEyeCare!"

Do not order from WebEyeCare!! I am so disappointed in this company. I placed an order on January 19, 2023 to get some Acuvue contacts to hold me over until my next eye exam. I paid $10 for expedited shipping because my lens prescription was expiring on February 4, 2023 and I only had one pair left. So I was in a tight spot and thought I could rely on WebEyeCare to promptly ship my contacts. Nothing on the WebEyeCare page for my lenses or in my confirmation email mentioned the contacts were on back order. A few days after my order, I reached out to customer service about the status of my order. On January 24, I was told by 'Jack' that my contacts were "unexpectedly on backorder. The tentative date for this order to ship is 02/01/2023." Just the fact that it took me reaching out to inquire about my delayed order to find out the lenses were backordered for 2 weeks was unacceptable. WebEyeCare choose to waive shipping on my order to make up for the 2-week delay and bad communication. So I followed up on February 1st to ensure my contacts would ship. On February 1, 2023 Webeye care said "our manufacturer has just given us a revised due date of 02/03/2023 for your order availability." So again, February 5th, I again reached out about the status of my order. WebEyeCare just told me that "our manufacturer has just given us a revised due date of 3/14/2023 for your order availability." Now my lens prescription is expired, I am out of contacts and very upset. There are ample contact lens websites out there - avoid this one at all costs.

"This company is a scam"

This company is a scam. I placed an order on their website on 1/25/23 for 1-Day Acuvue Moist for Astigmatism (90 Pack) - their price is $46.95 - a savings of $57.04 which is clearly stated on their website. I bought 2 boxes ($93.90 for 180 contacts). Today is 2/2/23 and I checked my email to see what the status is. They sent an email (to their credit on 1/25 but I didn't see it) stating that my Rx states I have positive powers (I'm pretty sure most folks who need contacts have this?), so the 1-Day Acuvue Moist for Astigmatism with positive powers only comes in a 30-pack for $43.95 per box ($263.70 for 180 contacts). I called for clarification and was given the same explanation about the positive powers. I said so basically anyone with a need for contacts isn't able to purchase their discounted contacts? So this is a bait and switch? She didn't deny it. I told her to cancel my order. She told me my card will be refunded in 1-3 business days. They already charged me for something they cannot provide!!! This is a total scam. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!!!
