"Incompetent and Horrible Customer Service"
I ordered one box of colored contact lenses, for cosmetic reasons, at zero prescription strength, because I only wear them with my prescription glasses, again, for cosmetic reasons. Instead of receiving what I ordered, I was sent the prescription strength for my right eye. I tried calling customer service twice and was hung up on because apparently I could not be heard. This was after waiting through a looping advertisement for this stupid company for 10 minutes or so each time. When I finally got a person on the phone in the afternoon, she could not have been less helpful. She says I got what I ordered because I did not include a prescription and so they contacted my doctor. Fine, but when you saw that I only ordered one box, at zero strength, i.e., non-corrective, and the doctor says to give me corrective lenses, don't you think something is obviously amiss and you should contact me? Of course not. Come to think of it, I never received an order confirmation from this company or a shipping notification either. So the company insists it sent me what I ordered, which it most certainly did not, and I am stuck with a box of colored contact lenses that are good only for my right eye. If I wanted two different eye colors at once, I would have ordered my prescription strength, instead of ZERO strength. Don't ever order from this terrible company.

"Honestly"
Honestly, I do not recall being as disappointed in a company as I was with my first (and probably last) order with Webeyecare.com. It seemed like a simple thing. I have ordered glasses and contacts online before so I had a level of expectation. I ordered Dailies contact lenses from a new script and included a copy of my script with my order on a Sunday. I received an email the next day telling me that my script called for multifocals and that there would be an additional charge of xx amount. I confirmed the order at the new charge. I received an email the following day telling me that I had been misquoted the new total and it would require vv amount added. I confirmed again.
I received a 3rd email telling me that since I had paid by PayPal they could not request the additional amount so I could either try to redo the payment on the website OR call Customer Service. I called and gave a credit card # and asked for a refund to PayPal. Customer service took all the info and assured me that the order & refund would be processed/shipped that day.
The next day I received an email saying that my order had been shipped! The following day(Sun) I received an email asking for my decision about okaying the new additional amount so that my order could be shipped.
When I called on Monday, Customer service assured me that my order had shipped and I should receive it on Wed. and she had no idea why I received the question email.
I received a box on Wed but did not open it until the next day. The pkg slip was correct for the power ordered- 2 boxes if the same power. However I was sent one of the boxes with the wrong power.
I called Customer service and was told it was probably a warehouse mistake and a box would be shipped to me overnight and I would be contacted about the return. The following day I had heard nothing nor received nothing by 2 pm so I called back. Customer service said that the order could had nit been shipped. They were waiting for me to send anpix ofnthe incorrect box as the warehouse said they had sent the correct one! I asked to speak to a manager but was told that none was at the office. I could talk to her in Monday between 9 and 2.
I sent the pix to the manager's email as asked and received a reply indicating she had "forwarded this pic to my shipping manager and requested a call tag to be emailed to your email address and to have the correct box shipped to you immediately. "
Maybe this was clear for in office personnel but it was confusing to me.
I called back on Monday and was told that the manager was not in the office, but they found another manager to talk to me after about 20 minutes. This person assured me he would take care of it. .I finally received 2 emails-one with a label for return via UPS and the other telling me that my order would be shipped overnight.
I did receive my lenses on July 2. I returned the incorrect lenses on July 3. I have not received a follow-up email or phone call from either manager to see if all was correct or to see if I was satisfied by the results.
Order made June 16-delivered June 26-corrected July 2/3. Not my idea of good service.
