Employed to fit a new cistern to my toilet. After fitting there’s an airlock the cistern won’t fill. After much messing about the airlock was fixed but the new filler device in the cistern was wrong so back to square one whilst the correct one was fitted. Sorted? No, there’s now a leak between cistern tank and the bowl. All dismantled and extra sealant applied. Further airlock needing fixed. Total time 4 hours. I made it clear I wouldn’t be paying for the labour related to fitting the wrong part, about an hour. Engineer left and within minutes I was being hassled on the phone for payment without an invoice for the full 4 hours. I was told I to claim the 1 hr back through the complaints procedure. I refused. Eventually they agreed to knock 30mins labour off the bill, I reluctantly agreed and paid. Next day there was water dripping from the attic onto my landing. The main valve to the tank was dripping badly after having been used so much the day before. I couldn’t face having this lot back again.My Dad told me how to fix the leak via video calls. Anderson’s: Never again.

"Poor Service"

Despite advertising that they have the right equipment and expertise to detect leaks etc they simply confirmed that we have a leak somewhere and charged for an hours labour @ £108 for telling us what we already know. No response to complaint. Their "no call out charge" is misleading and a scam. They ask for the first hours work deposit which they will not return. Use a company with a better rating than 4.3.. my fault for not checking this beforehand.
