LifeSource Water Systems

"very effective, low maintenence product"
The product makes San Diego water drinkable and keeps it from ruining my plumbing and appliances. I do wish Lifesource would make a service call to confirm the product is working, for a reasonable price.

"LifeSource Experience"
Good product overall. We had had it for 9 years with only two problems. The pre filter cartridge has to be cut in length by about 1/2" to fit; not a big deal; but why? We had to change out the main cartridge due to blockage; related to pre filter change out with sudden pressure change? We will be changing out the filter material after 10 years per plan.

"The best water treatment system available!"
We have had a LIfeSource water treatment system for over 15 years and it is by far the best water treatment system available. The fact that it uses no salt means that we can drink the water from every faucet in our home. The water tastes better than even the most expensive bottled water.

"Does LifeSource Really Work"
I have had LifeSource for over 2 years and I am still wondering if is performing as advertised. I had a terrible time with mineral buildup before I put in the 2nd filter system. The problem improved, but I still get mineral buildup unless I periodically use an additive to the wash cycle. I was told that the filter removes the mineral which implies that it should leave little if any water spots on dishes. I also have a faucet that I use for my car but the water spots are terrible which leaves me to think it is not working properly. I was told that the filter would not have to be changed for 7 years but now I am wondering. It would be nice to be able to check somehow.

"Replaced 2 times in the first year still"
We were really excited to get the LifeSource Water System after researching what we wanted and numerous companies. We needed to get rid of our soft water system that uses salt and try to get something healthier for our family. The company did a good job of putting the system in but after they left within a few weeks our water and toilets were turning grey from the carbon. We had them replace the system twice and flushed them when the carbon came but they still have problems from time to time. Makes me wonder what else might be getting through in our water if this is suppose to be a filter. I'm not really sure that I would recommend this system to others with the problems we have experienced. It's a shame because I was really hoping I could.

"LifeSource is great."
We installed our LifeSource filter when we built our home in 2000. and we would not be without it. I am convinced that it extends the life of our water heater and negates the hard water factor without the use of a water softener.

"Questionable"
My wife does not think it works. Waste of money. Thinks chlorine is still in the water. She has an allergy to chlorine.

"LifeSource water system"
While I am happy that we made the purchase, I am very unhappy with the company. We have absolutely no way to tell if the system is working or not. There is no read-out or warning system to tell you whether it is even functioning. In the beginning, I could actually hear it "processing" about 2 AM, but now it seems to be silent all the time. No one has followed up to see if we need maintenance or assistance of any kind. It is very disappointing. If we even had a manual to tell us how to check it, we would feel better. I paid a lot of money to make my whole house safe, and we don't even know if I have a functioning piece of equipment.

"Not really sure if it has changed my water that much."
At first I could feel the difference in the water, the water was softer and my skin was feeling better. I do not have that same experience 6 months later.
