They promised that once a quote was given, their team would contact me to discuss the offer and arrange a vehicle collection and from the way this reads, without renegotiating the price.

However, my experience deviated from this. After consulting with James at We Buy Any Car, the quote was unexpectedly reduced to £11,000 - a significant drop of £1,611 from the original offer. This was surprising and disappointing, especially since BestCarBuyer.com assures customers that their independent professional collectors are not there to renegotiate but forget to mention that they will change this price before collection

When I sought clarification, the response was vague, attributing the drop to market changes. This explanation was unsatisfactory, considering another company offered me £12,200 for the same vehicle - only £411 less than BestCarBuyer.com’s original quote, but still £1,200 more than their revised offer.

In summary, while the initial process with BestCarBuyer.com seemed promising, the unexpected and unexplained drop in the vehicle valuation left me with a mixed feeling about their service. Potential customers should be aware that despite the company’s assurances, there might be significant changes in the offered price
Moreover, I discovered that BestCarBuyer.com does not provide a 7-day guarantee on their offers, a service that is standard with some other car buying companies. This was misleading and has impacted my budgeting plans for a new car,

Spoke to Alan after getting an online quote. Went into the finer detail of any damage and general condition. Was offered a very reasonable price and didn't chip me hugely on price like other cash for cars companies do. Agreed to drop off later that day. Money received within 20 minutes and he even gave me a lift home! Lovely guy and very easy to deal with.
