"Bought ronseal one coat fence life in…"
Bought ronseal one coat fence life in charcoal grey, having used it with a paint gun I can honestly say it's the worst and cheapest rubbish I've ever used. Won't be using it again

"Utter Rubbish."
Utter Rubbish.
Applied 10 litres of Forest Green to different surfaces, some pre painted some rough sawn. Applied in good weather conditions and the paint has been on all surfaces for at least 6 dry warm days.
As soon as it rains the paint starts to run and fades to milky white colour.
Now need to spend another two days re painting with a proper fence paint and not this junk !

"Ronseal red cedar running off at first rain fall"
Ronseal red cedar fence paint!
I purchased 2 x 9 litre tubs to paint several fences. I spent days with a brush painting large areas only to find the first rain in weeks has caused the paint to run off a week after painting.
The paint is all over the path and my neighbours clothes as the fence & Gate at the front is communal.
The fence at the rear of the house is 75ft x 35ft and 6ft in height.
I has to put an old towel on the ground at my gate into my front door to get my 4 dogs into the house. Having newly had new flooring throughout the house I don’t want red paint all over the floor nor do I want my dogs licking their paws to clean their feet and getting paint in their mouths.
It’s cheaper than others but not worth the money and looks awful.
A complete waste of money and my time!!
I will now go and purchase Cuprinol as soon as lockdown is lifted and start again.
Just to add that my fencing has been painted several times and is in good condition.

"Nothing more to add - dreadful fence paint"
Just done the third coat of Ronseal’s One Coat fence paint. Very patchy. This paint does not do what it says on the tin.

"I’d give it minus stars if I could"
I’d give it minus stars if I could. Spent all day Sunday painting my fence with Ronseal one coat medium oak. It’s meant to dry in one hour. Just what I needed. Thought the texture was a bit gloopy but carried on.... two days later and the rain has washed most of it off leaving a lovely patchy finish. God knows what I’m supposed to do now. Maybe start again?? But I’ll buy better paint. Not this rubbish. Awful product, would never buy again. Complaint sent to Ronseal but after reading all the reviews on here it seems as if I’m one of many!!!

"Inferior product, not worth the money"
Ronseal paint does not deserve any rating, the product is absolute rubbish. First time I’ve ever used this brand, the consistency is watery and lumpy and no matter how much stirring the lumps remain. Three days ago I painted my shed with 3 coats of medium oak paint only to find this morning the rain has washed large patches of the paint off. Really disappointed and will not be using this product again.

"Rubbish"
I brought two tubs of ronseal green fence paint one coat . It took five coats to cover my gate and decking it rained the next day and washed most of it off.It is a total farce to say it is one coat. It is absolute rubbish . They should not be aloud to sell it . They should give every one there money back.

"One coat my foot!"
Re: Ronseal One Coat Fence Life (Forrest Green)
Don't use this if you are treating previously treated/stained wood - you will go nuts!
It takes many coats and even then it looks wishy washy in places. Its so thin and watery, and putting it on thick does not work either.
Oh yes, and it rained today and it's not sealed in to the wood as i put my hand on it and got covered in green stain.
Just go buy pain instead...and not from Ronseal.
It's not the money - its the wasted time we have spent.
Really poor show Ronseal. I'm no longer your fan!

"Ronseal Fence paint 1 coat"
Ronseal Fence paint 1 coat, this is not true in fact it's a pure bear faced lie. On your fence if it's bare wood it will need a minimum of 2 coats to cover. If your repainting a fence again a minimum of 2 coats. If your changing colour then 3 coats minimum.
Just remember it's water based so it will leave streak marks.
I've just painted my fence it took 3 coats to go from a faded blue to what is meant to be a charcoal Grey to hide the blue it took 3 coats to redo my gate that was a brown it so far has taken 5 coats.
So 1 coat is not even close to the real truth.
At the cost of Ronseal you may as well buy B&Qs own brand and save yourself a few £.

"Ronseal one coat! Who are you kidding!"
God how I wish I read these reviews before starting to paint my shed with this rubbish! Just finished the forth coat Of ‘ONE COAT’ Forest green and still it’s not the covered the existing colour. I’ve tried painting it on as normal and slapping it on all to no avail. I’ve got so many other things that I’d like to be doing but have to now try coat number five. DO NOT BUY RONSEAL ONE COAT TIMBER CARE!!!!!
