Today I went to the Croydon McCarthy showroom to buy a Toyota RAV4 car after seeing the car advert on Auto trader.I was happy to buy the car with full cash.The sales person noticed that there are more people waiting to see the same car.So he was forcing me to buy the extra 3 years warranty and £500 painting repair charge on top of the car price advertised on Auto trader as a bait saying that other customer is ready to buy the car if I don't pay the extra charges.If they want all customers to take their 3 yer warranty charges they should mention that rate on the Car Advertisement on Auto trader. They wasted my valuable time in taking a test drive and reading all the documents of this car.Even the sales person hide the details of the last MOT done in 2022 from me as the results of MOT was showing some advisories for the car.
Overall very poor customer service.

Was given a time to pick up a purchased car had a day off work as it was a morning collection. Phoned up to be told it was a late afternoon time l wasn't happy to be told by one of the owner brothers l could have my deposit back if l wasn't happy very unprofessional.
