Almost aince placing my (first ever) order, there has been an absolutely positively excessive stream of emails from Wooden Cork. The most annoying thing is that these innumerable emails all sought to sell me more “stuff” … before what I ordered had even arrived. And the order-to-arrival era was extremely long. I would have preferred to have been told to expect a delay instead of feeling the need to initiate my own inquiry. When I did contact them, the response was impressively quick and clear: they were out of stock on one of the items and so were holding the entire order. However, one part of the explanation for the lack of communication included the suggestion that my spam filter had grabbed the single email that would have been helpful to get (and let ALL the other sales-oriented emails through??).
I expect to order again from Wooden Cork. By the time I do, I hope they will have prioritized delivery and timely proactive communication over getting another sale.
