"Awful Aeroflot Economic experience!"
I travelt with Aeroflot from Tokyo to Denmark, with a plane switch in Moscow.
After i checked in my lugagge which went smooth in Japan, so thumbs to Japan for that:-)
But the wait for boarding the Aeroflot plane took longer than expected, since they were delayed apparently, not only did I wait to board the plane, but there were more waiting when I finally got on the plane, since they had issues with the right engine. Finally that got fixed and the plane could take of. I must say, flying ten hours on a plane with uncomfortable seats, is indeed rather uncomfortable.
Then when I landed in Moscow, and got on the other Aeroflot plane to Denmark, first off, when I had to board the plane, they didn't really show where everybody could get on the plane, so I asked some other people that were going to Denmark about it, and we all thought they had locked the doors, but apparently we had to go futher down the stairs, which nobody told everyone to begin with.
The seats in the other Aeroflot plane were much better.
But then when I landed in Copenhagen, and went to pick up my lugagge, they apparently hadn't transferred, not only my lugagge but many other people's lugagge as well, so I had to wait for that.
But kudos to Copenhagen airport as well for delivering my lugagge safe and sound:-)
One problem though, Aeroflot messed up my suitcase, and it's actually a hardcase suitcase, so how they did it, I don't understand what so ever.
I will NEVER fly with Aeroflot again, it was honestly an awful experience with that Airline!

"Great if you are travelling long haul with young children"
I had doubts about using this company because I had heard lots of negative reviews about them. .We thought that they were a very low budget airline and that we wouldn't be given food to eat or have a TV to watch However, they completely exceeded our expectations.
We missed our flight back home from HK so I had to book a new flight for myself, my partner and 1 year old twins. When we were searching for flights, Aeroflot flights kept coming up as the cheapest. But we were reluctant to book out flights with them because of the negative reviews we had heard. However, we decided to go ahead and book our flights with them because they charged around £500 less than all the other airlines we looked at and since we missed our flight from HK we didn't want to pay too much money for a new one
We flew from HK to Moscow first and we were given exit seats with plenty of leg room and bassinets to put our children in free of charge and without pre-booking them. We flew to HK with Swiss Air and they wouldn't let us book bassinets for our children so we had to sit them on our laps for nearly 12 hours. We were originally suppose to fly back to the UK with Lufthansa and they charged us £40 for booking the bassinets. Aeroflot also gave us a 23kg checked in luggage allowance for our children as well as for myself and my partner at no extra charge, whereas Swiss Air and Lufthansa only allowed us to have hand luggage for our babies.
The staff were also very friendly and attentive and regularly checked to see if me and my babies were ok.
We had to catch another flight from Moscow to Heathrow and again, we were given seats with plenty of legroom and we had a middle aisle to ourselves and yet again, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were also provided with refreshments on a regular basis and we had our on TV's which had a lot of new releases.
I would definitely fly with Aeroflot again and I hope that they meet our expectations or exceed them if we do.
