"Extremely bad service"

Extremely bad service. I should have read the reviews earlier before using them. My microwave is with them for the past more than a month and still not fixed. Everytime I call I am told the part has been ordered and they are waiting for that. Very very disappointed.

Don't use them

"DON'T EVEN CALL THEM!"

They arrived quickly, looked at the washer and told us we needed a part that would be an additional $448.22 to install; that visit cost $327.70. The following day we had a local repairman in and within 5 minutes had the washer working - with NO additional part. They misdiagnosed and wanted another $448.22 to repair a NON broken part. I requested a refund; that was a joke. Bottom line here - they are crooks. Do not let them near your house.

"Senior SCAM!"

SCAM! This company quoted my elderly parents $80 for a service call on their dishwasher. Conned my 90 year father into paying $1100 for a "replacement" part. New Dishwasher costs 1/2 this price. Took advantage of a SENIOR. And, to boot, dishwasher still not working properly.

1. guy shows up in car, no work truck with parts, etc., (two guys for a job)
2. Guy evaluates job and says $90 for assesament and then does nothing to assess and quotes he knows what's wrong and quotes $800 for labour and parts. We say NO
3. Guy says he will fix for $150 cash, it's the sensor.
4. Guy goes to trunk, grabs a part, fixes dryer
5. 24 hours later dryer not working
6. Call to speak to Manager and I'm told there are no Managers there and they can't give me the name of the manager.

I wish I read these reviews before proceeding. Lesson learned.

This is actually a scam operation, not a repair company. Do not trust them, they will charge you X10 the actual value for parts, lock you into contracts and absurd service charges, then string you along for months without actually repairing your appliances properly. They owe us $400 back and we've been in processing for months. SCUM of the EARTH, these M* F'ers should be all locked up.

This company is a BIG FRAUD!!!! By Far the worst appliance repair scammer out here in Toronto…..My Dryer was not working properly so I contacted “The A Team Appliance Repair) and asked if they could send a technician to fix the problem. They said it would be $80+tax to send someone for a visit, and when they arrived they would diagnose the problem and tell me how much it cost. I said ok. The technician arrived the next day and I let him look at the dryer and checked it for 10 seconds and told me it needs a new (MAIN BOARD & HEATING SYSTEM) and I asked him how much it would be to fix it. He said the labor will cost $295 and asked me to pay upfront by Email transfer or Debt card (NO CREDIT CARD). I said NO, I don't want to pay upfront because how will I know that you've fixed the problem?...then he refused to fix it and He then left my house and left me a bill for $90.40 !!!!

I called the customer service and they told I have to pay the labor upfront before he do any work and the lady attitude was very bad on the phone which made me think twice about the legitimacy of this company specially I told her it is very clear written in your contract Policy “I understand and agree that labour component is a non-refundable flat fee and must be paid at the end of today’s service”

Also important to note they don't take credit cards which should have been a red-flag on this one. They know that you can file a dispute with a credit card company which is likely why they don't accept it as a payment.

They are crooks! Complete joke and the techs have no idea what they are doing. It’s all a big scam operation. I called a different company and they immediately found the issue is with the breaker and they asked me to check with an electrician because there is no enough power coming to the dryer that’s why it stops after 10 seconds and it sure did, as soon as the election replaced the faulty breaker in the panel the dryer starts to work like a charm without changing a single component in the dryer.

Why didn't I read the reviews of this fraudulent company first? I guess when you have an appliance and need an emergency repair this can happen. I will report them to the Better Business Bureau and will file a police report as well. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! I hope everyone else does the same so we can bring them to court.

"Terrible and should be charged with fraud"

Terrible! They should be charged with fraud. Service person came, wouldn’t even look at the microwave until I paid, debit or cash, and took me for $365.00. Told me that they would come back, with no labour charge, but the parts would cost another $250.00. I had very strong doubts and should have just kicked him out of my house. The “technician” not only took me, he also asked to use the bathroom, and took a dump, didn’t turn on the fan. So gross. Disgusting company. Don’t use them!!
