I have just installed a wodar boiling tap kit it’s not the worst I’ve installed but also not the best. A couple of constructive criticisms
1, plastic nut for tightening the tap to the sink doesn’t allow for being tightened correctly
I used a massive set of grips and it still moves this design needs looking at
2, the filter is quite poor quality light and flimsy plastic on
3, this appears to be a sequential type tap so if you want normal hot water it’s full blast or nothing
It appears to be half the price of some others so overall not bad value

After reading some reviews we were a little worried about the service, however I think the service is better than most online companies! We had an instant response on live chat… from a human! We emailed a question and got a response.. from another human.. We then placed the order and got the Design+ 4 in 1 next day as promised! The product is well made and looks great! Nice to do business with some humans and a young British company too! Well done Wodar!

"A poor product backed by poor customer service"
I had issues with the tap including a spray-like flow from the boiling/filtered water, the tap dripped when the water boiled and the boiling/filtered water would run on for ages when stopped. I found the technical support poor, they took ages to respond, if at all, didn't offer a replacement to see if that addressed the issue (making me think these were common, unresolvable issues) attempts to escalate my issue failed as no one got back to me. I ended up asking for a refund, had to chase the reimbursement. Initial conversations with customer service were polite but ammounted to very little. A poor product backed by poor customer service.

My order supposed to be with me in 24hrs. Four days passed but there is no updates of dispatch. The phone number not working. The live chat not responding. I’m not sure what to do next. Sent them an email to remind them of the order.

Dangerous Product – Avoid This Company at All Costs!
I had an awful experience with this company and their boiling water tap. The first tap they sent was dangerously faulty and randomly dispensed boiling water, resulting in me burning my hands. Their customer service and director showed zero concern for my safety or any empathy towards the burn.
It took months of back and forth over email (since they only provide a phone number for sales, not support) to get a second tap sent out. Before agreeing to replace it, they kept asking my plumbers to carry out troubleshooting at my expense, rather than taking responsibility for their faulty product. I worked with them to try and resolve these issues, but I had to repeat myself multiple times to get anyone at their company to listen and respond.
When the second tap arrived, it was used, full of water, and open—clear evidence it had already been installed elsewhere. It didn’t work at all. They didn’t even question this and immediately sent a third tap, which thankfully works fine and doesn't have the same issues as the first. I did eventually receive a full refund, but the entire process was beyond frustrating and has caused me months of wasted time and money. I wish I had just kept my old tap instead of going through this stress.
They claim the water reaches 98°C, but it loses about 6°C on the way out, meaning you don’t actually get proper boiling water. Because of this, I rebought a kettle for safety and convenience, as I no longer trust the tap.
The washers and seals provided are made of rubber, which partially melted, causing boiling water to leak out all over the boiler unit, next to my electrics. Thank god I was home at the time. This prompted another urgent plumber callout, and the washers had to be replaced with something safer. I have no confidence this tap will last long, and I can’t imagine the accidents this could cause if I had young children around.
My plumbers had to come out eight times in total, costing me a fortune, which Wodar refused to contribute to. They also tried to shift blame onto me for damage to the returned products, claiming they couldn’t resell them—which shows they are selling faulty taps but claiming they are brand new. I returned the two faulty taps in the boxes they came in, and I feel this was a ploy on their side to shift blame.
I am now escalating this matter due to the serious safety risks posed by their products.
Avoid this company at all costs—unsafe products, misleading claims, and terrible customer service.

"Pleased with our Wodar tap."
We’re really pleased with our Wodar boiling hot water tap. It’s so convenient having instant hot water, and we’ve quickly gotten used to not needing a kettle anymore. We did have a couple of minor leaks, but Wodar’s customer service was very helpful and resolved the issues quickly. Overall, we’re happy with the product and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
