"Zero customer support "

I purchased two bikes. Love the bikes but one battery just won’t turn on now and I have tried to call and email customer support. No response. I tried calling sales too and no one answered. Not sure if anyone actually works there. Beware.

I bought 2 level 2 with free battery and 3 accessories. Everything showed up on time and works great. No complaints. We’ll see how it goes.

"Customer service is HORRIBLE!!!"

Purchased an Aventon bike with the promotion of a free extra battery. They shipped the wrong one so I complained and got a ticket number with promise to respond within 5 days. A month has passed now and no response after numerous follow up emails. Tried calling their customer service number and no answer after sitting on phone for over 30 minutes. They appear happy to sell but not support. Would not recommend them to anyone!!!

"My Level 2 was fine for a year, but then it died."

My Level 2 was fine for a year, and then the display died. I contacted Aventon, it took a month but I finally got a new display under warranty. It blew out after 15 minutes. I paid for a third display, like the other two it quickly blew. I'm an electrical engineer, I surmised that somehow the 5 volt display was receiving the full 48 volts from the battery. I contacted Aventon again, did not hear from them for three weeks even though they promise contact within a week. I gave up on them, bought a KT controller, display, PAS sensor and all new wiring, which I installed myself. After doing that the bike works fine. I finally heard back from Aventon, six weeks after my last request. That's not good customer service. I got it straightened out at minimal cost only because I am an electrical engineer and expert mechanic. The average person would be stuck having to go to an Aventon service center, which are few and very far in between. My advice is to buy local, whatever the brand may be.

"I sent a request to return a bike rack…"

I sent a request to return a bike rack that did not fit my bike. It's been 10 days and 5 emails. Still no response. This company is pathetic at customer service

"Customer Service Dept Sucketh"

Customer Service Dept. not acceptable. Made two requests to forward a missing part. Never heard back after 9 days. Made a second request. Called first, answering machine said the phone service was unavailable. Sent 2nd email request. Still waiting.

"BATTERY PROMOTION IS NOT TRUE APPARENTLY"

I purchased (2) bikes, a Pace and Solera, and both were with the supposed FREE battery promotion. I was told by the bike shop to turn in 2 separate registrations so each bike would receive the free battery. I received the first battery in approximately 30 days, and when the second one didn't come in, i tried customer support like everyone else and have been completely ignored. I have now sent multiple emails and it's middle of July and nothing....Aventon knows how to advertise a promotion, but definitely don't know how to deliver on it. FALSE ADVERTISING.

"Non-existent customer service"

I paid $15 for shipping of some small parts, which is ridiculous. However, what is really ridiculous is that a week later, they still haven't shipped. As I am writing this, I have been on hold for 37 minutes (and counting) waiting for someone to answer to the "customer service" line. I emailed, and received a canned email that it will be 5 days before someone looks at the email. Not acceptable. It's a shame, because the bikes are nice.

"Regret Buying from Aventon. Stay Away"

Customer service is non-existent! My wife and I just bought two Sinch.2 a month ago. Ordered a front rack and basket kit, arrived without screws. Contacted support to no avail. Ordered spare battery covers, same thing, no screws and the link they sent to me on how to install them was for the Adventure. Was worthless! Called and talked to Merlin in “technical support” and explained my dilemma and he put me on hold while he tried to find someone that knew the answer. After 10-15 minutes he came back and said the guy with the knowledge would be in shortly. After about 30 minutes he sent me a JPEG of the cover with two red arrows pointing at hole that you are supposed to place screws in. You know the ones they did not send. But you can buy them on their site for only $7.99 each. They are a 3mm x 6mm screw, which you get at ACE Hardware for .20 cents apiece!!

"Terrible Support"

Very disappointed with their abysmal level of customer support. I had to order replacement parts (out of warranty) and paid full price for the items. I ordered them on May 8th, and now over a month later I have not received them.

Their customer support team is completely ignoring my emails and has been no help. The bikes can be good, but they are not worth the price because their warranty is useless without proper customer support.
