"Improved Customer Service experience"

So, it did take a lot more effort than it should have, but I finally received some parts... I was originally missing the bracket for the rear rack. They sent me a reflector first. (??) Then they sent an entire rack set again, out of which I took the needed bracket. A few weeks later I received a bracket only. Then about a week later I received 3 more brackets. Not really sure what is going on over there, but I did get what I needed even though it took several weeks and many more attempts. They also processed a refund for the original rear rack, which was unexpected, but appreciated. Now I feel like this purchase is back on even ground and I can start enjoying the bike without resenting the company. Thank you Aventon.

"They did not honor their 2 year…"

They did not honor their 2 year warranty on a lemon battery that would take a charge after only 90 charges. As a weekend warrior the battery was supposed to last 300 charges or 3-5 years not 1.5 years.
BEWARE NOT HONORABLE.

Batteries now not compatible with newer model & they have no batteries in stock nationwide.

"Time to lawyer up Aventon Canada!"

Bought two “new” Level 2 in mid july 2023. One of them arrived with a scratch on the handlebars post… didn’t bother me too much at the time. The e-bike performed well until last Tuesday August 8th. But while riding, it suddenly powered off by itself. It is not turning on anymore. Only three weeks old bike! Contacted Aventon and performed every test they suggested from home. Myself. No solution yet. I specifically asked to be fully reimbursed and they ignore my legitimate demand. They are now only writing that they will “happily “ help me without suggesting any kind of support. There are no dealers here. The closest is in Toronto 600km from my house… And I repeat, I used my ebike only 4-5 hours at the most. This is unacceptable! I thought Aventon was a good company….

"BRUTAL service"

BRUTAL service! My charger died 3 months after purchase and because I bought it from BestBuy they said there was nothing they could do for me. Oh, they'll sell me a $150 adapter but otherwise, beat it. They gave me an email to contact but I messaged them twice an never heard back. AVOID this company!

I ordered and paid for two simple parts, in stock, I was told that they were on the way. 12 days later and no sign of them and no communications from Aventon at all. They have disappeared after my simple purchase. Wife cannot ride bike until parts come and there is absolutely no word. Want to know why Aventon gets such bad customer reviews, this is it. VERY POOR SHOW.

"Terrible after sale service"

Terrible after sale service. Had warranty issue almost right away, they took forever to address and couldn't care less. Customer service on hold is just as bad. Look for good comments regarding another brand and buy there, you'll be glad you did.

"AVENTON didn't honor it's warranty."

We purchased an AVENTON bike for our son and within a couple months were have major problems including it no longer providing pedal assist and a smoking battery. We took it to the shop who after two months had still not received the needed parts from AVENTON. It was under warranty. They fixed it using generic parts but the problems repeated and the bike is now two weeks past it's one year warranty. The company failed to meet it's warranty obligation. I recommend avoiding this brand.

"Don't buy an Aventon!!!"

I bought an Aventon Aventure for my wife in 2022 and she has only been able to ride it a handful of times due to the fact that there are constant issues with the battery and signal to the controls. Most of the time when we try to start it, nothing happens. Forget about trying to contact this company, customer support is non existent. The support number doesn't work and they won't answer emails.

Terrible customer service. I purchased an Aventon bicycle that was delivered damaged. After sending multiples emails, trying live chat and calling multiple times, I'm making no progress. They're great at selling bicycles, but don't buy the bike if you want any customer service assistance.

"I bought AVENTON PACE 500.2 on…"

I bought AVENTON PACE 500.2 on aventon.com a few days ago. Yesterday I received it. I charged the battery as the manual said. At first, the battery light is flashing green, and the charger is red. About five hours later, the charger turned green, and the battery light is off. I thought it would be normal. I installed the battery and tried to press the battery button to turn on the ebike. It did not work at all. I tried several times, the ebike power was on and the battery light was still off. The display showed the battery had 100% power. I tired several times and turned off the battery, and tried to turn it on. I found it was really hard to press the battery button to turn it on or off. The battery light is always off. I contacted the Aventon.com customer service in time, but they just repeated the same words over and over, and no one came up with a solution. I just bought a ebike, and I haven't ridden it yet, the battery is not working well. Aventon customer service failed to provide any timely technical repair service, but my requests appeared solved. It's ridiculous. I called the custom service today, they said I had to return the battery first. What if they do not send me a new one? I paid over $1,700 and I haven't ridden it once. Based on their service, I don't know how long it will take to get it repaired.
