Saltire have been really brilliant to deal with. I have just had a new boiler installed after the old boiler having faults. Phone calls are answered without long waits. Those answering calls are helpful and jobs are allocated straight away. Engineers arrive when they say they will and do a great job. Communication is first class. I think prices for their insurance, repairs and new boilers are really competitive. They seems very well organised company.

Have been with Saltire for many years and have had no problems with them. If required to call them out they were here same day.
We liked them so much we bought a new boiler through them and the installation was carried out seamlessly by their team of installers. Highly recommend.

Avoid if you can.
Through no fault of my own I am compelled to use ‘Saltire FM’. The customer service when calling them is most abhorrent with rude and unknowledgeable staff that don’t seem to have any understanding of when a situation need to be attended with priority. My boiler is rattling and whistling, three radiators are not working (I have bled them myself but to no avail). The engineer that attended overlooked the fact that the three radiators need new valve heads when he only changed one and the bleed nipple has sheared off on the main radiator. The control panel buttons do not work and the engineer said “you’ll just have tae put up wi it ma one at home disnae work either”. All in all this situation has caused deficit to my finances and health and I am extremely reluctant to allow them back in my dwelling. I have raised concerns with the housing association but they are not in a position to help as they’ve already and probably regrettably paid for the contract. I am thinking about hiring a reputable heating engineer to fix the issues out of my own pocket.

After calling Saltire for the umpteenth time I can only say that the customer service support ( Alan today and previously Andrew ) is first class, it always has been in the many years I've been dealing with this company, over three different properties. No infuriating telecon options, no painful holding music , then a switched on , helpful operator.. great.

Our boiler WAS WORKING WELL until we got it serviced ( are they setting this up to get you to buy a new boiler, mmmm beware !!!! ) straight after the service the pressure started to drop we called them, someone came out topped up the pressure, another 4 times ghey came out faffing about, we found out through a friend that it could be the expansion vessel, 6 times they came out faffing about draining turning up pressure then the 2nd last time the guy broke the button to turn pressure up he turned it up to between 2 and 3 the 7th time the guy brought the expansion vessel to fit, lots of banging and bashing water leaking later approx 3hrs he informed us he couldn’t get the pump out to get to the expansion vessel and he would put it back together for us, WITH NO HEATING and NO HOT WATER he disappeared leaving us with 2 electric 2KW heaters ( cost a fortune to burn ) just like that, my husband took 4 holidays off work and I used 3 days off just to be left like this then they emailed us a nice quote for a new boiler over £2600 5 year warranty and over £2800 10 year warranty all this after having a service when the boiler was working fine I have been with this company for about 7 years and my Worcester boiler only needed a fan in all that time they have destroyed it it’s not the company it used to be don’t go there !!!!
