"FILTHY ROOM 1216 at Beach Club Resort"
Rented room 1216 at Beach Club Resort. The room was filthy! Both bathrooms had mold, sofa was filthy and had a bad oder. We couldn’t tell if the carpet was green or brown it was so filthy! The floors in the living area needed cleaning. When we complained they sent someone to clean. A brief cleaning didn’t help! The cookware was disgusting however, the lady they sent to clean did bring a new set of cookware. We tried to find another place to stay but by then we couldn’t locate anything. They did relocate us to a beautiful unit in another condo the next day. We weren’t able to check in until almost 4 pm the next day. Due to the filth of the room and the late check in the following day, we lost 2 days of our vacation which they refused to refund our money for the lost days. The new unit at a different condo was located across the road from the beach. It was very difficult for 4 elderly people to walk across the road with all our beach supplies. Two of the people in our group have major health issues. We originally rented a condo ON THE BEACH! The new place was very clean and very nice. We didn’t get what we reserved so we feel they should have gladly reimbursed us for the 2 days we lost, but they refused to give us a refund! They made the beginning of our vacation a nightmare! I will never book through this company again! All we got concerning the filthy room was the runaround until they told us they had another unit in another condo. We were forced to spend the night in that filthy place. Unless you enjoy staying in a place with mold all around the tub and shower DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! I’ve sent one photo of the shower in one of the bathrooms. I get sick just thinking about being given such a disgusting place to stay and it wasn’t a cheap room either. The cost was approximately $224 per night. All of us live on fixed incomes so that’s a lot of money to us!!

"Sunreal is full of mice and rats"
Sunreal is full of mice and rats. We found proof all over the house and cleaned it up. By the next morning there was more "evidence" and clothes were chewed through. Unbelievable that this company even rents this house. Disgusting and unprofessional that we even experienced this.

"Reservations are NOT GUARANTEED"
After having a reservation for over a month, signing contracts, and even having it all verified by a manger, they called and told me they would not honor the reservation dates. I ask to speak with a manager and they sent me an email and indicating he/she was “too busy” to call that day. Seriously. I would hate to think how they would treat you if there was a problem during your stay. I noticed below other people were commenting they had problems and they would not help. I would highly recommend choosing a reputable company when renting. There are many.

"Do not rent Bourbon Beach w Five Star"
This is our fourth year staying at Bourbon Beach as a family. With a week costing in the tens of thousands of dollars, you would think that all the amenities that they advertise as being special about the house- the bar in the pool, the heated pool and hot tub, etc.- would work.
LAST year, the heating for the pool and hot tub was broken. We considered it a fluke. We are back THIS year and the heating for the pool and hot tub is not working yet again. This time we pushed back to ask them to fix it and they could not care less. They said we signed a contract that things don’t have to be working properly. Seriously?? As a family we have paid nearly six figures over four years to stay here annually and half of the time the pool and hot tub have not been working. Two years in a row now.
This year was especially important to us as my 3 year old is battling leukemia and in chemotherapy. He has a one week break and we came down here to enjoy time and make memories with family. He is extremely sensitive to cold because of treatment and loves the hot tub. I’m heartbroken that he will not get to enjoy the warm water.
In short, the owners of this home will take your 2+ grand per night and make you sign a contract that says none of their facilities or amenities actually have to work as advertised.
Stay somewhere else. There are plenty of places in 30A that care about their visitors and will make sure basic care and upkeep of the facilities are taken care of.

"Renters Beware… DO NOT RENT FROM FIVE…"
Renters Beware… DO NOT RENT FROM FIVE STAR OR RENT THE BOURBON BEACH HOME. Although the home looks amazing, nothing works: spa, pool heat, ice maker in pool area, tvs, and they refuse to fix and heat pool (and we would b charged for heating pool). Stayed here for 4th year in a row and chose this house bc it is all inclusive. That was important bc our grandson has Leukemia and his immune system is poor so we are unable to go out. We picked Bourbon Beach for the outdoor living and so disappointed bc nothing is working. They have refused to fix or accommodate. We requested it to be heated and they were charging $75/ day, which we agreed to for having pool heated. Pool or hot tub wasn’t working so we put in request to be fixed. Pool contractor says owner what’s refused for months to fix hot tub and will not heat pool about 86 degrees which is not warm if you know about pool. No one shared it would not be heated as well e have paid for this in the past and would not have chosen if they had changed their policy. Funny thing is they were charging us 75/day for heat which was not being heated. $27,000/week should get you a working hot tub, working tvs, working ice maker and everything else they advertise for the home. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE WHERE THEY CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER AND REPEAT BUSINESS. WE HAVE BEEN PUNK’D by Five Star Rentals and BOURBON BEACH Owner. Five star was rude and could have cared less.

"We love the house"
We love the house, Endless Summer, it is beautiful, this was our second summer staying there. I was looking forward to swimming in the pool but discovered there was a black stuff (mold?) in the bottom of the pool. We contacted management and they sent a pool service out to clean it up, this was on Monday, we had not gotten into the pool until Tuesday, then discovered there was black stuff (mold/algae?) all around the sides of the pool. We were very disappointed and we were uncomfortable getting into the pool with it in this condition. We couldn't us the bikes because we couldn't get the combination to the locks from anyone. We were told we had to fill out a waiver and sent to the company that provides the bikes, but the waiver wouldn't process because apparently all the information wasn't input, but the form didn't tell what was missing. The company was called but they couldn't help because they could see the form in real time, to tell what info was missing. Very Disappointing.......

"Bellissimo"
We stayed in Bellissimo. This place needs a little updating, inspections needs to be just that, TV remotes, fan remotes were no where to be found had to call them to find out where they were. The pool had not been cleaned and when we headed for a day at the beach our chair service was not available. However, some issues were cleared up .not to bad of a place the owners really need to check in on their places more.
