Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. Faulty toy, with a known issue which had been experienced by lots of customers, yet a customer service who were completely obstructive and unwilling to help. Disgusting behaviour from a brand who are meant to care about children.

"Selling faulty items that are not fit for purpose"
We were given a toy that needed to be constructed from flat pack. One part was discoloured and one part was missing the holes that should have been drilled to construct the toy. In trying to fix the poor quality part the part broke. ELC have refused to help at all and have claimed we broke a warranty.

I have never written a bad review before but this needs to be addressed, three times I have ordered, the first order was lost so I went through my bank and got a refund the second time I ordered one of the items were broken however I had to get it out to put batteries in so I guess I can't send it back, the third time half my order was lost the only reason for 2* is because the lady on the phone was lovely and is sending the lost items out again. Hopefully I recieve it and I will not order from here again.

Surprised to see such negative comments, as I received fantastic service with a faulty item. Emailed on a Sunday afternoon and was responded to by Jada with a replacement sent out the next morning, arrived on Wednesday. Excellent service from Jada. Thanks!

"do not waste ur time on elc"
Ordered a swing due for delivery by 16th may never showed up the tracking stopped working I couldn’t get hold of elc after sending maybe 5 emails I got a reply to say my parcel was lost in transit and then they took another month to give me my money back so do not waste your time buying from here it’s not worth it my kids were so upset they didn’t get a swing I ordered from Argos with no problems

Faulty item which they refuse to replace!
Bought a happyland fire station for my sons 2md birthday and at £44 was not cheap but it looked good and advertised it played sounds etc.
However when I set it all up 2 nights ago it doesnt work and elc refusing to replace it as it was bought at a mothercare store and not an entertainer store....despite the fact they still currently stock this product and could replace.
Honestly spend your hard earned cash elsewhere

Ordered 2 items from the ELC a wooden push along kitchen and accessories to go with it. Order was for my nephews 1st birthday. Order was placed on the 7th May at the time of placing order website informed 10 working days for delivery. After placing order Delivery Eta was 18th. 18th May came and went I waited 3 more days just incase it had been delayed due to current climate but had no delivery. Checked my email to find an email informing order has been dispatched, I clicked on track but it just gave me an error saying unable to track.
I went on their Website to try and contact them, at the time live chat was available so I queried why I couldn't track the order, they just told me that the order was not picked up by the Warehouse... which obviously didn't make any sense because they sent me email to say order on the way its been dispatched. But any way customer advisor was not providing any answers and was beating round the bush avoiding the question. So he advised he will 'push' my order through and promised it would arrive Saturday 23rd May.
we are now on the 30th May and I still haven't received my orders. They have taken my money and left me with no goods. Customer service is absolutely dispicable. I have tried contacting them on 3 separate occasions and now the only way I can contact them is via email... I have left them 2 emails and yet no reply.
IF YOU CAN'T FULLFILL CUSTOMER ORDERS YOU SHOULD HAVE SHUT YOUR DOORS LIKE OTHER RESPONSIBLE RETAILERS AND NOT BUILD FALSE HOPES IN YOUR CUSTOMERS.
THIS IS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL BE ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE. I most definitely will not reccomend the ELC AND THE ENTERTAINER TO ANYONE.

Ordered toys they said a date that they were coming they never turned up so they have taken my money and 2 weeks later I have tried to get hold of them though emails on messages and ringing . They just ignore me completely. I will be going to Smith's in future but I do hope that I can get my money back . Mrs Theobald

Placed an order for 2 items on 2nd May with an estimated delivery date of 13th May via Hermes. Hermes failed to deliver it and when I chased it up with Hermes, they asked me to contact ELC. I had emailed ELC and sent them 2 Facebook messages, with no response. It is pathetic that they haven't even acknowledged my email or any messages, can't even demand an investigation, replacement or refund
