Just had the Bayliffs at the door for a car I had for 9 days before it blew up around a year ago.
This is because they were caught driving the car down a bus lane without any insurance and as they didn't change the log book back into their name I was chased for it, every time I emailed and rang them they said they dealing with it.
BTW don't bother emailing their complaints department as they have told us on the phone that they don't have one.
I should send them some Stetons hats as that's what cowboys wear, or should it be big shoes for the clowns they are.

Update on on below.
After speaking to Matt one of the directors ( he found time to phone me when I suggested we would knock on his door as bayliffs had done so to us) he argued that they were unaware of the bus lane contravention until we informed them the bayliffs knocked on our door, after a 30 minute call it became apparent they were not going to accept full responsibility. We have now forwarded all our information, inclusive of an email that clearly stated and had a screenshot of us emailing them the fines as soon as they dropped through the door, onto the courts, we have been informed by our solicitor that they will have to pay us in full once the papers are served and everyday they don't it will be chargeable at 8% interest.. let's see how quickly they move them as have done nothing in the seven months we have been calling and emailing them!
Once that is settled we may take them to court for loss of earnings ( having to take time out of work to try to solve these issues not to mention the anxiety and stress it has caused to my husband's mental health.
Extremely sad that a company cannot admit their own faults and it's had to come to this.

We bought a car in late April 2024 which blew up 9 days later, took this company 2 months to admit the car was not sold as in condition as it should be and eventually refunded our 5,000. They took the car back but did not register it back with themselves, obviously they fixed it or bodged it, and in September when they took it out for a test drive their drived contravened a bus lane and we were getting letters daily to pay the fine, after months of terrible communication from them we finally thought they had sorted it and paid the fine. Low and behold today we just had bayliffs at the door to collect the fine money that was now at £424.00 which we had no option but to pay. Upon trying to contact someone in their office there is no person high enough for me to speak to.
Absolutely the biggest con artists dealing in the car sales business.

There were clear instructions on how to get to the building. Once I arrived the staff were very attentive and friendly. They helped me with any questions asked and any helped that was needed when test driving the car. They explained everything clearly to me with kindness. I recommend Cotswold Automotive for anyone looking for a new car. The cars are in pristine condition as advertised on their website or any other. I was very happy with the help and support I received and I am very happy with my new car.

Excellent service. I needed to purchase a car quickly and after looking through many dealer websites, booked a test drive with Cotswold Automotive. The online vehicle description and photos matched exactly the Fiat 500 on offer. The car was immaculately presented and had recently been valeted. Mike was professional and explained the process of purchasing the vehicle. He also explained and recommended purchasing the 3 month extended warranty, which I decided to take. Paid the deposit, and came back to collect the car the next day. Mike also went through and completed the online DVLA V5 transfer and taxation forms for me while I was with him. Highly recommended.

Purchased a car in September 2023 with a 3 month warranty. The car started to overheat and there was clearly an oil leak! I rang and sent an email letting them know this on 14th December! Finally collected the car on 8th January 2024!
Have been told the car would be hopefully back to me by the weekend beginning 19th Jan! No car back! Sent another email asking when it would be back, told should be back to me on 26th Jan!
Still no car!!! I am now going through my bank to try and get a chargeback claim!!!
No car and out of pocket!!! Unbelievable how they can treat people this way!!!
I’ll be seeking legal advice if I have no luck with the bank.
