Once accessed, the service was good with acceptance of our car at drop-off and its return carried out swiftly and professionally.
It may be just my inattention to the paperwork, but I didn't understand the drop-off instruction and inadvertently racked up an additional £19.25 charge. I was clear before arriving at T3 that I should head for the T3 Short Stay carpark, and found this easily. Once inside the carpark, I could find no reference to Maple Parking, but drove into a lane marked 'Meet & Greet' and through a second barrier that dispensed a ticket. Once again, having passed through the barrier, I could find no area specifically labelled for drop-off, but eventually noted some purple paint on the deck and parked there to find the drop-off. When I did so, I was informed that I was in the wrong place and needed to go to Floor 4.
I found the correct drop off point, marked eventually with the small but crucial 'Off Airport Meet & Greet' signs - about 8" diameter. It wasn't very clear that the bays were 'mine', but having parked and found the lift-lobby desk, I was told that I had to pay the APCOA fee on the adjacent machine. I know it was 'only' about 20 quid, but felt pretty miffed that, having followed such instructiuons as were provided, I had brought about an additional charge. I'm sure, but may be wrong, that there was no mention of taking my car to the 4th Floor of T3 Short Stay to drop off. I think this could be made more clear, and especially noted on the Booking Confirmation form that I received.
Where is this information shown, and could it not be made more clear within the T3 SS park where Maple customers should go - or in particular, not go, to avoid additional charges.
I'll use Maple again for all the positives, but paying APCOA nearly 20 quid for absolutely nothing jarrs.
