"I had a mixed experience with…"

I had a mixed experience with SupaGlazing Ltd. Initially, the process of getting new windows installed seemed promising, as the communication was efficient and the staff were friendly. There was a small hiccup with a detail during the installation, but it was promptly resolved. However, on the morning of the fitting, the team was delayed, and although they managed to complete the job, there were issues with the finish, which required follow-up. Despite these challenges, the company addressed the problems, though the overall inconvenience affected my experience. I appreciate their effort to rectify the situation but believe there is room for improvement in their service reliability. 3 stars.

"Not the only person to have been caught…"

Not the only person to have been caught out I know. I paid a £2700 deposit on 2nd November. Last communication with the company was last week confirming fitting for today. No fitters arrived and I find out that the closed down. Answerphone on in the office. Sales person not responding to messages. Website taken down.

" done a runner"

They appear to have done a runner and folded. It was really nice of them to take a £2000 deposit for a job for me with clearly no intent of even starting. Main phones to answer , mobiles disconnected and website deactivated so they clearly had it planned just to rub salt in . I dare say I am not the only one. Anyone care to bet that a company with a similar name starts up shortly from the same location.

"Reliable double glazing Company "

We have been regular customers over many years of Supaglazing and decided to have a new window to a shower room installed from the initial deposit to the final installation went reasonably smoothly apart from a detail not observed on the first install but this was quickly remedied and final payment made communication was efficient with the main office and Colin the builder excelled as a company representative 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"I don't normally leave Reviews as a lot…"

I don't normally leave Reviews as a lot of people just put lies. But after deciding to have new windows fitted and contacting several companies, Steve from Supaglazing came round and was totally honest and answered all our questions. We went ahead and today was the big day. Lovely helpful fitting team, clean and tidy, but do drink a lot of coffee 😁 The office girls have kept me updated with every step, Lovely friendly team of people. A long standing company who still deliver a first rate product and service. Thank-you Supa.

"AVOID - poor quality and damaged my flat. "

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I have had lots of work done in my home and thankfully this has been the only negative outcome- but want to warn others.

The salesman was very kind, but I did have to chase quotes, which should have been my warning maybe!

It was all booked in, and on the morning of fitting (I had taken day off work) I was told the fitters were sick and they couldn’t send anyone else until tomorrow. Which was frustrating- but people get sick. It was the lack of apology and laugh when I asked if this was due to the England final the night before. But still. People get sick.

The fitters came the next day and made a complete mess. The house area where the window was fitted was COVERED in dust and debris. They left so quickly and didn’t ask if I was happy etc. just gave keys and left. I was having to work from home and didn’t really click until I went to open the window to see the absolute disaster they made of the window. The frames on each side of the window were different. There was a crack in my ceiling. It didn’t sit straight with the wall and the sealant was dripping around the edges and looked AWFUL.

I called right away and sent photos. Was told they would send someone out to look at it. This took a lot of chasing but finally someone came. This man was the only professional and trusted person from this company. He said it was poorly done and they had used outside sealant inside. Said window wasn’t placed properly. Would need fixing.

Again I had to chase this being organised. Numerous times. Finally told they would come and I took day off work again. Called that morning to double check definitely coming, reassured would be there by 12. Get call at 1pm to say that they had only booked one person and would need to reschedule. I was so cross but needed this window done. Chased again to have this rebooked. And was even spoken to rudely, well we tried to book it on the Tuesday but you were working. I am a midwife and cannot work from home easily!! I was still very polite at this point. And agreed a new date.

They said would be morning, as manager would also be coming. They arrived at 12pm. I booked half day, and now had to work from home that afternoon with noise etc. No apologies from management. They fixed it, and although there is now damage to the ceiling coving.

I had held back £100 and asked for this to be removed from my fee, due to the terrible treatment and missed work. But was told by Tracy if I didn’t pay, they would not send me the guarantee for the window. If I thought the window was put in well, I may have risked it. But I have very little faith.

I was always polite, tea/biscuits, paid on time etc. and I was treated so poorly.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. They offered me the cheapest price, and I now know that sometimes it worth it to pay more.

UPDATE: notice how there are two positive reviews now?! After my honest one.
Look what others giving 1 star have said about staff being forced into leaving fake reviews….hmmm

"Haven't lasted like other company's units."

Had complete house done a few years back. Most of the window units have blown. Yes they are out of warranty but older windows keep their seals much longer. Seem to have had a poor batch fitted.
I hope their units are of better quality these days.
Wish I had chosen a different company with hindsight.
